Looking for OLD post

Quite awhile ago there was a post by a guy who leaned out and gained strength… and passed drug tests for devison I football.

One of the things he said he did to pass was drink a ton of water to dilute his urine and take B vitamins (I think) to get the color to look more concentrated.

The reason I bring this up is on a local talk radio show a Doc was on and said a by product of creatine was what most places test for now when checking concentration of urine. So the point is if this guy got buy with just diluting his urine more people may get away with this if they suplement with creatine and other siuplements that help use creatine (I believe arginene falls into this catagory)

The funny thing is that most athletes who are well built have creatine levels above what is considered the normal range. Diluting urine may not decrease the concentration low enough in these athletes to make their urine look like it is low. (just speculating)

I think what you are referring to was actually an Underground Tap article from 11.14.2003

Underground Tap
The Dark Side of College Football

In the 2001-2002 academic year, the NCAA spent almost three million dollars testing Division I and Division II football players for “anabolic agents, diuretics, and urine manipulators.” National studies have allegedly shown a decrease in steroid use among college football players.

Or just a decrease in the amount of players “caught”…grin
