I was going to type “you’re kidding right?” but I know you’re serious. Come on, the “Worldwide Homosexual Lobby?” Give me a break.
If such a small minority can get a large number of western nations to all changes theirs laws in such few years, maybe we could learn something from them in the matter of influencing governments.
Does the WHL have a website?
Hey, times change. Whether you consider aberrant or normal behavior depends on a lot of factor. I believe it is “natural” and not learned or chosen.
Epileptic where thought to be possessed by demons and exorcised or killed during the middle ages. It is allowed to correct something when we have it wrong, right?
So what? What does it matter that views on homosexuality changes with time or by culture?

If the majority of people in every state is against gay marriage; then keep the status quo. But when or if the time comes when a majority of people in many states are ready to allow gay marriage, you will accept the will of the majority, right?
[quote]Since it is the legislatures that make the laws and we have a Constitutional Republic in which the people’s voice is expressed through ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES, this is the way it is going to be, unless the PEOPLE in the various states want it another way.

How was it done in California?
I think many people see it as a personal freedom issue. Personally, I don’t really give a fuck if gays or lesbians wish to marry. I don’t begrudge them the rights that heterosexual married couples enjoy under the law either. If it’s done between consenting adults; then I don’t really care what they do in the privacy of their homes.
