You seem a decent and pleasantly disposed, but nonetheless entirely clueless individual.
An oldie but a goodie, “The more you go in search of an answer, the less you understand.”
I see.
Just to be clear I meant nothing nasty by what I said, but meant it just the same. Hurricane Obama would be an unleashed national catastrophe rivaled maybe only by something like a foreign invasion.
From the economy to defense to a mushroom cloud style expansion of government to anathamatic court appointments (especially that) to the further enslavement of minorities in federal dependency to making a laughing stock out of the United States in the international arena.
To say he would be better for the country than Bush, of whom I am no fan, demonstrates a woeful lack perspective to say the very least.[/quote]
I’d like to hear your specific economic objections. I know of at least one way in which an Obama administration will most likely be closer than a McCain administration to our current policies.
Defense, I’d also like to hear.
Anathematic court appointments, if you’re an ultra-conservative, any liberal will fit the Renaissance definition of anathema. I prefer the Classical, less… icky.
Enslavement of minorities. Interesting. From my personal experience in New York, Obama’s intended expansion of the (from what I can tell, very successful) Harlem Children’s Zone to a national establishment has a good chance of reducing crime and increasing education in “blighted” minority areas.
What parts of McCain’s welfare policies do Conservatives find particularly more attractive than Obama’s?
Laughing stock in the international arena? Sorry to say, too late. It’s not fun being an American abroad, especially when politics are involved. The dollar is also anemic, so buying food is a pain in the ass especially after you’re hungry from a squat workout.
As a side note, did anyone else also love that GW Bush was smacking Misty May-Treanor’s booty while Russia was invading Georgia?
