Do you think that stadium was ever filled? I canāt imagine something that remote attracting a crowd large enough for the venue⦠but then again racing and gambling mightāve been huge in Colorado when it was built. Coincidentally, the Kentucky Derby is this weekend.
I understand your concerns. Your free to do so. There are no signs posted. I assure you the graffiti was already there when we came, the vandalism thing is a very bold assumption, we took some beautiful photos and left.
Iām not sure. Its been left alone for a few decades, I could see why no one would want to go, thereās nothing around. I was worried more for the dog though, she was starving and looked injured. Iām glad we found her some safety.
Reminds me of an old abandoned dog track in vermont. I remember seeing it open when i was a kid, but now its been abandoned 30 years. I thing kids screwed around and almost burned it down a few years ago.
Be careful in those places. Carry a pistol because squatters arent always the most hospitable.
No pics, but I fish a lot in the summers. Read a lot in the winter. I have been invited occasionally, but ice fishing is something I might try in the winter.

I tweaked my smile line just a bit to actually make it look like Iām ever so slightly smiling (without approaching that uncanny valley phenomenon). Been doing better mentally.
