🚴‍♀️ Lifters Not Lifting (Share Your Hobbies!)

Such a lovely trail! :star_struck:

I used to have a Jeep, an old 84 CJ7, but recently upgraded. This is the first trip out, not much for obstacles yet, gotta add some protection first. Did well tho!

Very nice!

A good time killer and semi functional.

Had some spare time and wanted a break from paper reading:

I have seen a lot of your fashion designs. They all look better than half the stuff I see in the store when I am out with my wife. You should seriously consider trying to find manufacturer.

Thanks!

That’s the hope someday.

If I ever get married, I’m going to get one of my designs made

Hello,

I like to garden, growing everything, especially hot peppers

This year I grew watermelon too!

I also love to turn fruit into alcohol

That is a strawberry rhubarb wine. I always make apple wine in the fall and something else in the spring, and usually leave them ferment for a whole year before bottling.

I also play guitar for my dog. Even his face doesn’t look too thrilled to have to listen to me play.

In addition, I love languages. I speak fluent Spanish, pretty decent French, and have dabbled in Mandarin, Japanese, Russian, and Portuguese.

I love these things, but most of my spare time is dedicated to my kids’ hobbies. I have one daughter who plays hockey and one who plays soccer and does dance.

It’s so awesome to see so many folks with such varied interests and talents!

Saw this thread again and sad to say I now admit it’s not just a hobby. Bought new gear costing a decent chunk of change :sob:

I want to try Macro photography, but know I’ll take like 5 pictures and then shelve my camera for 6 months…

Now I have to enjoy the heck out of it! lol

@usmccds423 so the good thing with the newest gear now is that you get way more out of what you’re paying for compared to shelling out the same amount 10 years ago. The technology is just that much better. If you have a good camera store within reach, you can always buy a camera and lens and worse comes to worst, just return the whole thing within the return period if you think you won’t stick with it

It seems that my hopes of getting various fashion and jewellery pieces made are not unrealistic. There’s an econ prof at Brown who started a fashion line for fun
