Yeah, her parents actually breed and sell some of them.

Apparently, Her mum is basically a stay at home plant mum.

I’m betting you do a lot of stuff but are so used to it, you don’t even think of it as a hobby anymore; it’s just built into your daily awesome life.

Also, you’re SO freaking helpful online that yes, it could count as another pastime. Social media is usually kind of a narcissistic time-suck, but you are actually social in a way that builds community, helps people, and gives others a meaningful/smart perspective. So if this is what you like to do, please keep at it! We love that you’re on here – even if there’s an argument haha!

Ha. It’s the best.

Always happy to give the local scoop! It is Utah! Various locations in south/central. I live in an amazing playground. My hubby and I pack the Jeep with the tent and hiking boots and head out most weekends.

Some of those plants are SO freaking hard to keep alive… let alone propagate. So, go her! That’s pretty cool!

You’re the second person in the past 5 days who’s told me how cool the hiking is in Utah. So this is my cue to get over there.

Our dogs like to go after rabbits and squirrels so I’m too afraid to ride with them on leash because they’ll probably make us flip over the handlebars.

Yes! Allow a month to come explore and you won’t even scratch the surface. Jeep has done 1000 miles on dirt in the last 3 months and I haven’t crossed my path twice. Utah has some of the most diverse, baren and beautiful landscapes.
Want to not see anyone for 3 days and 200 miles? Done.
Want a touristy, crowded, National Park? We have 5.

Got a list of your current favorites? What have you watched recently and what do you recommend for two people who don’t watch enough movies?

Get out here! Sept/Oct is best, summers are scorcing. Happy to send a list or entire routing. I also have a trip planning obsession and I love playing tour guide.

Years ago, I decided that not being able to cook was equivalent to being an adult toddler. I also wanted to eat delicious foods and not get fat again. So I learned to cook. Working on the quick pickling method here.

Dog is clearly amazed.

Hiking. Being from Texas, this still blows my mind. Looks, trees taller than me!

Not sure about this frozen rain business though…

Also, I get very angry at paper sometimes.

I’m also a semi-professional husband.

Don’t be so humble. You’re a pro in that department.

No leash. Can’t do it with a leash. You’d be surprised how quick most dogs pick it up. Dogs that love to chase (prey drive) and better yet dogs that like to herd.

A good dog is a tired dog.

those are the best!

When I was in HS, I sold spicy pickled Daikon to my friend’s parents

Cool! Honestly, I was tired of watching cooking competition shows where the chef did a ā€œquick pickleā€ and thinking ā€œWTF IS THAT?ā€ So I used the magic Google and now it’s a regular in our salads.
