I think the whole attack on Summers is absurd. There certainly do seem to be genetic tendencies. But it seems to me that most guys that are good at math and sciences are like that naturally, while most girls seem to be more studious in nature. You rarely find the slacker/genius girl the way you do with guys. However, it does not at all seem like most guys are good at math/sciences. It seems like at least half are not good at math at all.
