Know Anything About These Cars?

Hmmm…would this work with the V6 Accord? That combo would have a better power-to-weight ratio.

MicroSlash - “REALLY wanting one of these…quite badly”

Seems to me if you could make this kit work with an S2000 that would be really tight… Not that there’s anything wrong w/ S2000’s as-is.

good point rainjack… I’ll definitely see if I can do that.

I go to car show’s pretty often so I’ll see if I can talk someone into letting me test try one :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d be rebuilding the accord engine so I’m not too worried, you can get a lot out of them.

What I actually thought about after looking at the car’s design for a while is that I think you can build it off of a 300zx, and you can get somewhere up to 400hp out of those with stock internals.

anyway yea I’ll keep you guys posted this might take me a year or two to gather all the information though… but if i refer to my “wife” you’ll know what I’m talking about.

(ie, the wife is controlling the pocket book, the wife wanted me to take her out, the wife needed a new chassis, the wife has nice headlights, etc)

actually if I do end up getting this, I’ll make a damn step by step how-to type website for it lol.

if your thinking of going the turbo route you should look into a old 4g63 6 bolt (from a first gen mitsu gsx, basically and old evo motor), their stock internals can handle gobs of power (like 500 crank, 400+ to the wheels in an AWD). They can be had for quite cheap, they’re plentiful, lots of people work on them, and modding them up or down is relatively inexpensive and been done so many times it’s pretty straightforward (mostly bolt-ons). Even if you got a really basic built one that was stroked to 2.3 liters (a common thing to do) it wouldn’t be all that pricey and you’d have all the motor you’d ever need in a car that light. The nice thing about them is it’s so easy to change them, you can have a broad powerbanded torquey motor (espacilly with a 2.3 or 2.4 liter) with a smaller turbo, a top end freak show and everything in between without ever taking the engine apart.
