Tried out the Nook today and nearly got a migraine from the dark screen between pages (it flashes a negative screen before the new page loads). Does the Kindle do this?
yup. Never bothered me though.

^Thanks. Guess I will be keeping to paper for awhile.

How so, it does what I bought it to do, and it does it better then a netbook…
Doesn’t it cost a lot more than a netbook too though?
bout 66% more… That said, it does a lot of things better then a netbook. I have a netbook btw. The screens on netbooks are small and make browsing web pages a pain. I like to read and reading on the netbook is a pain. I also do a lot of editing / annotating of PDFs (this is the reason I bought an ipad). With the right app (IAnnotate) you can highlight, make notes and then save it all to an email it. This makes doing a literiture review for college a lot easier. I had 4 three inch binders of PDFS i had to keep track of until i got the ipad. Now its all on the ipad and much easier to find / edit things…

Anybody know any good Torrent sites for kindle books? I’m on the fifth book of the Dark Tower series by Stephen King and i can’t seem to find anything. I bought the other four, but it seems that it’s a rip off that an ebook is only a dollar cheaper than the paperback.

You do know netbooks come in different sizes? And start at under $200?
