I’m currently on a six month deployment in Oman and am now at month 4 1/2 with nothing else to do but lift and eat. I was also able to bring finasol and clomid with me and went from 195 to a pretty solid 235lbs in that short amount of time. The fina/clomid worked quite well, but I have also been eating three meals plus three 680 calorie protein shakes/day while lifting hard and heavy religiously. Aug 01st is the date to start cutting down before I finally go home, and have been looking strongly toward the ketogenic diet for a crash diet program. The problem is that I can’t find any real good info on the net or on this site about it so I was hoping to see if anyone knew of a specific keyword for either a thread or article on this site. What I’m looking for is info on what types of food to eat (calories, protein, and carb count)? How much water to drink? Creatine and other supplements during? Whether I should attack with cardio and low weights or stay heavy? And most importantly, how long is too long? Any and all posts would be appreciated.
See “Eat Like a Man” Part I and II and The T-Dawg Diet. May also try the Fat Fast. Search for those over at T-mag’s main site (not the forum). Also read the Diet Manifesto article. The Essential Berardi article is good too, but he doesn’t like keto diets. Lots of other good info though.
