The color was…get this…Grey. I hope that doesn’t mess up the information you’ve already gathered.
Justin doesn’t sound good singing that song because his voice is not compatible with it. Likewise, Al Green would sound ridiculous singing “My Love.” Far from being mediocre, Justin is the best pop singer since Michael Jackson, and that is simply an objective fact of reality which is not subject to opinion. The chorus on “Dead and Gone” is the most soulful thing I’ve heard in a long time. Justin produced the track too. Oh well, haters will hate I guess.

Hey, you’re right. However, I have seen people post on here about what a great singer Justin Timberlake is.

Could it have been dead dirt? Or, maybe clay?

Hmmmmmmmmm so my suspicions about water are true. Now, with that out of the way, I can focus my attention on a theory about fire… Thanks Vader.
It is my belief that fire is hot. It’s hot and fire-y. It can also burn things. Hope this helps with your theory.
Good god, man!!! We must be kindred spirits, because the the data that i’ve aquired through the years say the same exact thing!!!
Ok, I have to ask… Dirt?
I googled dirt and apparently, it’s dirty. Hope that helps too.
It is also often brown in color. It doesn’t taste good either.

Anything Vader says is wrong and dumbb. All the time. About all subjects and people especially.
I love Al Green, but i don’t think you can give Timberlake a hard time for not doing as well as Green on one of Green’s songs that the Rev has been singing for 35 years plus.
I thought Justin did a hell of a job on the duet with T.I. I don’t care what anybody says, JT has some serious chops, hell of an entertainer.
I listened to Dead and Gone like 3 times today.

TOG is just upset because I keep bringing up his, apparently, painful memories of Zach Braff.
Zach says ‘hi’, TOG.

I definitely have missed those posts then (probably intentionally). It’s a sad day for music if people really do think he’s ‘great’. Especially on this site.

He can shake that ass on the dance floor, though.
If you care for that kind of stuff…um…yeah.
Some of you simply do not know how to evaluate music correctly. I don’t necessarily like all of his material, but to deny his singing ability is acinine. Why do you think all the other boy banders faded into obscurity and are now remembered in disgust, but he became the most popular thing on the planet and is considered cool enough to collaborate with gangster rappers? It’s because he’s fucking talented, that’s why.
I’ve thought of this moment for so long. My 1000th post. I wanted it to mean something. Something big. Something funny. Inciteful.
Oh well.
Blah.
As a jazz drummer I like Al Green.

Becoming popular nowdays is a simple result of marketing, not talent. You will never hear the most talented singers again unless they happen to be blessed with whatever look is deemed profitable for the time. He’s cool enough to collaborate with gangsta rappers??? Nah, he’s popular enough and has coat tails they can ride into the mainstream to clock they scrilla, or whatever real G’s do.
Also, he cops a production credit on a song? Wow. Must have eq’d a snare drum or something. Sheesh…Doesn’t mean he wrote the fucking thing. After singing in studios since he was a mouseke-twat I’d say he’s a little late to the party. Timberlake is an instrument, um, i mean, has mastered his instrument and is a good singer. He’s not great. He does what he’s told and he reaps the rewards.
(On a side note he only sung that song with Al cause Chris Brown was too busy beating Rihanna up and they both no showed the event. So maybe he had no time to prepare?)

Wait, so… T-Vixen = fire?
Look, if you want to hear a mediocre singer, listen to Robin Thicke. That is mediocrity.

I have a feeling the people who say he’s a “great” singer are the people asking about snorting, inhaling, injecting, and anal suppository-ing creatine.
I don’t think he’s a great singer, but I do like most of the stuff he’s done within the past two or so years. Before that he was pretty fruity.
Plus, he’s extremely funny on SNL. Really one of the better hosts out there.
