I don’t have HBO but I am looking forward to when it makes it to DVD or the History Channel.
I’ll check it out when it gets to DVD. They shot most of it in Richmond, and I had friends who worked on it from the beginning. They were kind of disappointed in the result, but I can’t wait to see how some of the scenes turned out. The boston tea party, for example, they built the boat and part of boston harbor on the side of a hill out in either Powhatan or Goochland county, but the crates and barrels that they smash open are all computer generated.
I didn’t want to watch it, but I was flipping through earlier today and saw where they were tar and feathering some guy. Now I’m going to try to catch the whole episode.

Me too.
The series looks really good, and I think Paul Giamatti was a great fit for Adams. I can’t wait to see this series.
Yeah, I got HBO just for one month to watch it. They do a great job all around in the casting. There are a few historical inaccuracies but they are slight and it is an exceptional series thus far. The John/Abigail relationship is pretty much spot on as well. That was certainly one of history’s great pairings.
