Jim Rome Blasting on 'Gym Guy'

I love Jim Rome. Sure, his opinion isnt any more valid than anyone elses, but his is usually far more hilarious than anyone elses. He is definitely a major league hater though, but if it makes him money than whatever. That being said Ive seen/experienced many of the stereotypes he talks about, and that makes his take on this fantastic.

I just wish he would have talked about “self-motivation guy.” You know, the guy who talks to himself, saying “he’s got this” or “this is pussy weight” before sets. Classic.

P.S. Im not a huge fan of Frank Caliendo, but his impression of Jim Rome, might be funnier then Jim Rome himself.

I thought his rant about the Ipod filled with Godsmack was hilarious! Godsmack is definintely default music for douche-nozzles.

Don’t forget about Gym guy’s son he had with Nutrition gal. I think it’s named Progress Guy…
That’s it! You did it, perfect impression of Gym Guy! And, you did it over the internet. Very impressive.

This is some funny stuff, and sadly I am a violator of some of his blasts (chalk, water, IPOD blaring)…Gym Guy is a dork. But being that guy and trying to defend makes you a super dork. I am good with simply being a dork haha…

Some days I like Jim Rome, others I don’t. Today, I’m thinking he’s a skinny faggot who is the epitome of someone who knows a little bit, and latches on to it, not caring that there is a ton that he doesn’t know.

The only good part about that rant was when he criticized typical gym music. I’m not 100% sure what a ‘larnyx’ is though… maybe something in the bicept?

Did anyone else think the sound was fake? Like someone pieced it together? The pauses were unusually long and it made me think it wasn’t real.

Anyone else think so?
That’s the typical way talk guys will speak on the AM stations. If you talked at normal pace, the hour-long show would be over in 20 minutes.
