Are you trying to equivalate this hypothetical to the Smollett case? There were victims in the Smollett case. Namely, the bothers, though complicit can claim coercion and not be laughed at. The police. And all the other crime victimās who were affected by the draining of resources to chase this phony narrative.
The media who willfully got caught up in it. The people for whom the mediaās derision was aimed at. And most importantly real hate crime victimsā¦ Defining as crime was committed because of their immutable characteristics and not for gain.
