Maybe, maybe not. Shows like this would never had made TV 15 years ago. We didn’t glorify stupidity as much back then like TV shows do now.

Having children changes your perspective of many things and for good reason. This is why I asked what I did. I wanted to see if your opinion would be different if you didn’t have kids, that’s all.
I hardly watch any tv, unless it’s on Animal Planet, History Channel, or Discovery…I might watch Cake Boss, Holmes On Homes or some other reality show with my wife on occasion, though.

Shes too young to watch this show, but Im going to have full trust in the way I bring her up and her intelligence to know whats good for her, no child of mine is going to be swayed by reality TV.
I have to use my noggin all fucking day, I dont see anything wrong with watching mindless television, I need a recharge and this is how my wife and I put my brain to sleep at night.
Of all the people I speak to that are in there early 20s and younger all have the same response and its usually that they enjoy watching train wrecks. Any young adult that imitates them probably has some other deep inferiority issues that would rear its ugly head whether jersey shore was made or not.
