In-season, without hesitation.
I’d guess that the point of the pre-contest photo was to show how she still looks incredible even without a studio, fancy lighting, make-up, a tan, a nice hairdo, etc.
All she did was take a progress picture and her physique is mind-blowing. Calling her “haggard” is ridiculous because she’s not trying to look like she could step on stage at this moment, even though she could.

She looks hot year round. Maybe to some she looks better at certain times but either way she is hot.
If she looks like she does in the second shot, she’d win for sure. Since very few women could ever aspire to have the very low bodyfat level she shows in the first pic, those contests would draw a larger audience as well, if the ladies looked more like the second shot.

It’s a figure competition, not a modeling contest.
Apples and oranges. I think Jelena looks like every other woman off-season, so I find her pre-contest pictures more interesting to look at.

I am very relieved by the thread itself. When I saw the Subject Heading, I thought it was about the best way to off her. That would be a grievious sin indeed!
I think she’s absolutely beautiful.
Meh, i think the first is “hotter” but then i can understand figure contests too.
I bet if you asked most women what they prefer CT’s in kinda offseason or CT on stage and they would go with offseason. its not “insane” its “normal”…
