only pants I can wear are carhart work pants. none of the others I found fit me correctly around the top of my quads.
they make jeans and kahaki any and all styles.
Pay attention to the style and ask the sales people questions about the fit when you’re shopping for pants. They should know the different fits the store carries and what body types work best with them.
I’m sure a lot of people hate talking to the sales people, I know I do, but they could save you a lot of time.
It seems like most people just grab things they think they like and try them on without paying attention to the cut. Then they complain that nothing ever fits right…at least that’s what I’ve noticed after working at a clothing store.

Yes, my serious answer to the original question goes with what BG said. Slim fit, regular fit, relaxed fit, those don’t work for a lot of people, but there are loose or baggy fit styles that do. You still need to try them on though.
Gap, Silvertab and even Guess have baggy or loose fit jeans that work for me. I have friends that swear by Old Navy. Sure I sometimes still have to get an inch or two bigger in the waist, but it beats trying to buy a pair of relaxed fit jeans and have to get it 3-4" larger in the waist.
/facepalm

Also, some stores will do alterations. I know Banana Republic will do simple alterations for a fee, and The Buckle does free alterations. A friend, who is short with very muscular legs, swears that The Buckle has the best jeans ever for this reason.
Why the hell do we get one of these threads every month? People can’t do a search for the other 5 million threads about this?
Why are they always started by people much smaller but who, for some strange reason, can’t find clothes that fit?
If you are 5’9" and 200lbs yet can’t find jeans that fit, that is because your ridiculous ass is trying to force yourself into hip huggers just so you can claim to everyone that you only wear a 30" size jeans. Someone has to actually tell you to go up a size?
Really?
This revelation didn’t come to you while at the damned store?
“Gee, I COULD try on the next size up and see if those fit…but then I can’t tell everyone on websites that I only wear a size 30!!”

lol@ professor x rashing this clown for buying jeans extra small so he can brag on the internet.
this whole site is jokes
buy relaxed fit you fucking tool. lmao
damn, professior X - friendly guy, aren’t you? you go around talking to people like that in person or do you only do it through the safety and anonymity of the internet?
just so you know - i’m asking because jeans are cut to FIT a certain style of body - it’s more than just the waist size. it’s the ass, the side of the legs, etc. if you just force your way into a pair based on waist size you will probably look like shit in them - which is something you probably don’t care about.
i don’t have a problem fitting into other types of pants - just jeans.
i neither have such huge thighs or such a small waist that i have to brag about it online - i’m fucking almost 33 years old - how immature do you think i am?! that’s ridiculous. i’m simply an athlete seeking advice from other athletes. if you don’t have any to give - be quiet; simple as that.

I’ve never had someone your size come to me because they claim they can’t find jeans that fit.
If this were the first post, or even the 23rd, about this exact same topic, you just might get a different response. However, since this exact same topic comes up at least once a month, what response do you think it will get?
I wonder what comes up if you type “jeans” into the search engine now?

Easy there big guy. Hell, only 691 results are found. Not sure that the OP could find what he wants with that few results.

I’m placing my money that you don’t have thighs that are 30"+.
The majority of these threads are guys with 23" legs that are too HYOOGE to fit in jeans.
Gimme a break.
Aside from the fact that these threads (and there are many of them on here already) always end the same way…
Dude, what the hell are you doing even trying to fit into size 30 jeans. I’m 5’9 and hovering around 200 myself, and I buy 33" waist and wear a damn belt. That’s a 3" difference from you, and I, and despite the fact that you do seem to have a decent build, your waist is in no way one of those tiny wasp waists some people are just born with.
I’m reminded of the Seinfeld where George reveals that Jerry buys size 34 jeans, but scratches it off to look like a 31 on the tag.

Agreed. Unless you have quads 30" and above, let’s see LESS threads about this topic as if you all are having to go nude because you can’t find clothes to fit your massive bodies.
If you weigh over 250lbs at average height, then yes, you just may have some real trouble finding clothes that fit. Otherwise, it just sounds like, “Hey guys, I’m sooooo big my pants are tight and I REFUSE to go up a size so that they fit.”

Hey! I have 23" thighs and I really do have trouble finding pants (especially jeans) that fit right.
I just don’t make threads whining about it…

I’m 15, and I figured this out.
PS- Belts rule.

Amen. Things that fit in the waist are like shrinkwrap on the thighs. Things that fit in the thighs/ass are 2" too big in the waist.
Maybe I should start a thread about it.
I’d like to see one of these about shirts that don’t fit. With pics. Or maybe collars. “WHEN WILL THEY MAKE A NECK SIZE FOR THE YOKED GENTLEMAN?! DAMN YOU SEARS!”
Let’s have a topic about how someone can’t find a hat that fits. Hats are always funny. More variations, people. “Fucking watch doesn’t fit around my forearms that are coincidentally 19 inches around! I tell you these things not to brag, but so that others may sympathize with my plight!”
“These dress socks don’t fit around my diamond-shaped calves!”
“Women keep choking to death on my magnificent penis! Now I’ll never pleasure those supermodels!”
Creativity is the key here, people.
