I eat this stuff prolly once a day or once every other day for a between breakfast and lunch snack. Just like you said it’s all over the place. We sell it at the checkout lanes at work so it’s just convenient for me.
I have a reputation for 3 things at work.
#1 that one guy who comes in with black eyes and stuff all the time
#2 that one guy who carries a gallon of water everywhere
#3 that one guy who’s buyin all the beef jerky =P

Personally, if I am dehydrated and/or eating preservatives I can feel it when I am working out.
