Just as a brief update…
You were 100% right. I received a letter with some additional feedback from my previous appointment with him, in which he said that the DHEA-S was a non-issue as “levels were normal at 3.9”. He also said that my E2 levels were pretty much immeasurable, therefore an aromatase inhibitor would be unnecessary.
Should I pursue the issue with the DHEA-S? I’m hoping to be able to talk him into trying me on a PCT cycle, so I’m not sure if I should be pushing too many new things at once?
I don’t think there is any harm in getting DHEA-s towards the top of the range. If you are not supplementing any magnesium, you could do transdermal magnesium and kill two birds with one stone. Should help sleep if you apply it at night with zinc. I add selenium and B6 to that. Lately I’ve added GABA and melatonin help even more with sleep.

If it’s something which could potentially be addressed by suplementation, then I don’t see the harm in doing it- I probably won’t pursue the issue with my doc. The only additional magnesium I supplement with is whatever is already present in my daily multivitamin, so I would look into purchasing an actual magnesium supp. I don’t know the liklihood of getting hold of a transdermal form- would an oral supplementation work just as well? What about dosage?
