IT Folks: Switch to Google's DNS?

A question for folks who know about such things.

Is there a benefit in switching to Google’s DNS? Public DNS  |  Google Developers

Pre-emptive declaration:
I do not buy into/care about Google tracking my every move. I don’t believe Google is out to get me, or is evil in ways that current provider is not.

The only time I would recommend using public DNS servers is if you’re having issues with your own connection and thats merely as a troubleshooting step. Theres no real benefit to it.

I’m not going to bother.
