Is My Serum Testosterone Low For My Age?

Long story short I went for a bloodtest last week to find out wether my test is low, I got my results today.

Age: 18 years old
Low testosterone symptoms:

  • gyno
  • low libido
  • hard time putting on muscle mass
  • depression
  • tired through out the day
  • soft boners
  • can’t concentrate at times

Serum testosterone - 16.4nmol/L (10.0 - 30.0)
Pro
Prolactin - 376mu/L (75 - 375)

I read some of the sticky but I have to go to work now so I dont have time to read them, I was just wondering if you guys can give me a thought on what you guys think about my levels. I’ll read the stickys when I comeback.

Anyone?

Probably a little lower considering your age. Your prolactin is high though and might warrant further investigation.

Any head injuries in the past or blows to the head?

You will need to get more tests done to paint a better picture.

Have a read of the stickies good info there.

In order to go further, there would have to be a plethora of personal and medical information to potentially look for the root cause to why your levels are low. Simple alterations in the immune system , improper sleep hygiene, lifestyles, nutrition , psychological issues are all factors which could lower testosterone. All these and many more factors need to be properly evaluated. Putting up a few lab results tells nothing relative to your case.
