You can look at mass shooters from two perspectives: the shooter and the victims. Yes, it’s terrible that one person can take many lives but, to a murder victim, does it matter if he was the only target of a murderer or if he was killed along with many others? One of my points being, a murderer is a murderer whether he kills one or one thousand, so why is one type of killer worse than the other?
