It’s a circle jerk for the Christians.
for someone opposed to Christianity you seem to spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about our sex lives . . . disturbing . . . really really disturbing . . . .
Mak fancies himself as the Atheistic version of the Westboro Baptists. If he can’t say it in the most incendiary way possible, it just aint worth saying, I guess.

My “faith” as you wish to label it is based upon two things; “something”, the idea of God or the divine, is definitely imprinted upon man and has been chronicled in one form or the other for ages. It’s hard to ignore and it’s proof enough to me…
So, basically, you have less to go on than us. Just a feeling that God is imprinted on you. Ok, got it.
Well, you just defined it as being incomprehensible. There’s one definition.
No idea what you’re trying to say here.
You do? But you just now said the The Divine, God, is imprinted on us. So, if you’re claiming God is imprinted on you, you’ve just claimed a ‘personal revelation’ of his existence. God has revealed his existence through your genes, I guess.
I see you’ve chosen to not reply to anything. I’m game.
I don’t have “less” to go on than you. I’m open minded enough to explore other beliefs, see the commonality between them, the common thread and see truth there. That constitutes an abundance of evidence for me.
I don’t have a feeling God is imprinted on me per se, but that God or the idea of the divine has been imprinted upon man since the beginning - that much is quite apparent if you got your nose out of the Bible.
I didn’t claim a personal revelation and you know it. You’re being silly. I didn’t claim a dialogue with the almighty, which is the claim of others.
Again, you’re being silly. Universal truths are those that are found in each religion. Thou shalt not kill being but one of dozens of examples. There are common threads existing among all religions. They cannot be universal wrongs as you so cleverly attempt to put it, because if they were, then Christianity would be similarly indicted.
Anyway, Mak may be blunt about it, but he about accurately sums it up. This is not a debate. It’s a thread where like minded people like yourself can argue the finer points of scripture. It’s an online bible study class. Have fun. And your stuff about John is weak toast. Sparts I’m sure has reached the conclusion I reached before we started - that no one will change anyone’s mind. There will be no revelation here. You choose to believe…it’s as simple as that.
