When you say Meth binge, i assume you mean Methamphet?

Well I just got home from the ER. I tel you what, it wasnāt too fun getting that pus removed from my quads. I was infected and I got treated for it. Now Iām a little gun shy about continuing my regiment of self injections. [/quote]
Maybe you should clean up your tweaker pad before you start injecting again. No, but seriously do you feel you were using a sterile injection technique? Why do you think this occurred?
I go through the same process every time so I assumed it would be sterile. Could it be from the switch from cyp to enth? Also can someone reccommend the best oral suplements. Is there a quality pill form of T? Ever since the infection I fell of my regiment. I sucks cause I was getting great results, improvement of size and strength.
I have had injection pain but it was due mainly IMO to dull needles.
Soā¦injections into the delt with a 23gx1 needle; good or bad idea? Iāve done it and itās caused quite a bit of pain, but Iām trying to figure out if this is normal or not?
I may have injected too fast, and it was my first one and I entered the area twice with the same needle because I thought that I pinned in a bad place. No redness or swelling, just painful to the touch, almost 3 days since. I donāt think itās a major problem, but I would like to figure out how to alleviate it so that I donāt get dogged with this throughout the cycle.
Maybe just slow it down? hmm

I have been using 23-25g 1 inch in my delts both for my B-12 and my TRT no probsā¦I just tried 25g 1 inch with my TEST PROP went though greatā¦easy, hope this helpsā¦
4 days ago I injected Prop-100mg, and Tren-A 50 mg into my right quad. Iāve never suffered from injection site pain like this before. Iāve injected quads countless times and the pain would subside within 3 or 4 days.
Today, Iām a cripple and canāt bend my knee past 90 degrees. It is very painful to walk.
The pain doesnāt seem to be getting better or worse. There is swelling, but there is no redness or heat. I donāt have a pitting edema in the area and I donāt have a fever. The area is very hard to the touch. The pain seems to subside when I work the muscle, especially when doing cardio as it would almost feel fine for while and then a halh hour later, it hurts like a bitch again.
Should I be concerned about a possible infection?
Sounds like my issue, which I found out was due y
to dull needles (using the drawing needle to inject).

How long did the pain last for you?
When should I start getting really concerned and see a doctor?
These are common symptoms with a preparation that is too high in BA. The pain is insurmountable and literally can cripple you.
If it is purely a BA problem, then by day 5-7 it will have begun to ease.
IF it is an infection that is becoming problematic (many self-right after 5-7 days too), it will not get better - just worse. By the 1 week mark if the redness is spreading, if the pain is the same or worse, if there is a hard swelling⦠then i would go to a GP for some anti-bacs, and maybe a referral to a surgeon who can look at likely hood of lancing. In moist cases the drugs will be enough, in many more the surgeon will draw a line around the redness and ask you to return if the redness spreads outside of the line.
I believe i have already written this in this thread - maybe you should read the whole thing.
I hope that I donāt have an abscess. LOL
Well, last night I injected 1 ml of test prop into my right delt. It went pretty well, and of course I properly sterilized everything beforehand, and applied alcohol pad to the area after the inject, too.
Today, I notice my shoulder is sore, but nothing unusual for the day after.
However, if i touch the area, i feel a very very tiny bump on the exact place of the injection.
I used a 23x1 needle, as always. Kinda big for the delt? I dunno.
Anyway, Iām hoping that this is not an abscess, as I am in the military and do not want this to become a big issue. There is no redness surrounding the area, whatsoever. Is this something to be very worried about?
Any advice? ![]()
Just wait. You have no redness or swelling yet so I wouldnāt worry, yet.

there is very slight redness around the inject spot. a very small radius and very faint color. i think i might be fine. it might just be irritated due to the way i pulled the needle out too slowly, and it was a 23x1. im crossing my fingersā¦
If you look for my posts in this thread, you will see that i have written a good way to determine the presence of an abscess which covers just 1 week - a couple or three times actually.
Hello, I hope this is an appropriate form for this questions. My friend has been using 5/8 inch needles to do his injections, and he notices after the injections there is slight blood at the part he connects the syringe and the needle. He is using the basic injections sites, and no blood actually enters the syringe when he aspirates. Is this common when using a smaller needle?
Thank you.
Blood clearly IS entering the syringe - what is probably happening is this:
He aspirates and nothing but a vacuum forms.
As he injects the gear the needle moves out of the site slightly, entering a blood vessel a little.
The existing vacuum is enough to bring some of the blood into the barrel tip at the end of the injection.
I would suggest he uses a longer needle to start with - 5/8" is a short needle and unless shooting the side delt or bicep if he is very slim - (1" is usually short enough for every lean site) then he would do better to get deeper in the muscle with a longer needle.
Another ātipā is to choose a length that allows you to push the whole thing in (āthatās what she saidā) - this will reduce the chances of the needle moving in and out of the site so much.
I would also suggest he use a different spot - if this occurs regularly.
All your post are very informative and always helps me out. Thanks again Brook.
hopefully i am not out of line jumping in here but i have had the injection site bleed after i pull the needle out and was under the assumption that i had hit a vein on the way down is that what is happening? if it helps i use 25g 1" and bury it in my quads and always make sure some air bubbles come in when i asperate and this seems to happen 1 out of every 6 or 7 times⦠i am sure this is no big deal just curious why it happens every once and a while thats all thx in advance
I was on my third daily injection of Test P/Mast P, 75/50mgs. The third shot was in my quad and one day later I had very limited mobility with mild flu like symptoms. This is now the third day post injection and I am getting back some mobility, however the delt shot I did on day four is now giving me similar symptoms of my ill fated quad shot.
Friday was my last injection, as I have decieded to let this experience pass and start over from day one.
After reading this ENTIRE thread I can say that the only logical culprit was the BA content of my stealth-esque sachets! Coupled with the fact that I got lazy and started injecting fast. literally jamming the medication through as opposed to using the gradual approach. For the record I injected with 25 gauge 1 inch needles.
Would adding grape seed oil help with this issue? Any other assistance/thoughts would be appreciated.
