I can see tomatoes and peppers being economic things like the line says, but eggplant…?
Not sure to scale, but I grew some eggplant a few years ago - good yield/cost ratio, hearty vegetable, versatile, nutritiously dense. This is just in a small backyard container garden/greenhouse
Ohhhhh maybe by economic importance they just meant cost effective.
Themoreyouknow
Probably … how’d you interpret it?
Wrote a whole response, but at the end of the day, you’re just an idiot not worth the time.
Typical response from a spoonfed propaganda since birth derelict
(@Zeppelin795 - saved you some time buddy)
That it was traded enough to have a large economic impact on the world…
Gotcha. I don’t think it would be a large portion of any one countries agricultural exports - I do know my local supermarket stocks a couple variety and it goes pretty quickly. Not sure where they source it, though. I think one of the varieties is imported from Italy in my supermarket - can’t imagine it’s a very lucrative crop though but what do I know? I just have a hobby garden and grow what I like.
That being said, potatoes, I think, have a better yield/acre than any vine or stalk vegetable (i.e. tomato or eggplant). Not sure the margin per bushel/yield or differences in demand though…I’m sure it varies - not sure it’s really worth thinking too deeply about either unless you’re thinking of investing in crop futures lol
Guys, did anyone else notice ol’ Zeppy figured out the quote function??
We need to mark this day down in history.
Incredibly, he took the Forum Director of Bigotry’s advice and tried the practice thread.
That means all this time it wasn’t a tech problem…he lacked the awareness of how highlighting a line had a little quote button pop up. We know he highlighted the text to copy and paste it, but couldn’t put it all together. This has to be what a parent feels like when their kid does something for the first time when the potential to do it has been staring them in the face all along.
100% accurate.
Putting PJs on at USMC’s house:
USMC: Put that leg through that hole.
Lil USMC: I wanna do it.
USMC: Okay, just put that leg through that hole (vigourously points)
Lil USMC: I wanna do it!!!
USMC: Okay, freakin do it!!!
Lil USMC: (puts leg in the wrong hole)
USMC: “Wrong hole foooool” (chuckles). Let me fix it.
Lil USMC: No I fix it.
USMC: (in head) FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!
Lil USMC: I did it!
USMC (he actually did it): YOU DID IT, HIGH FIVE!
As usual, nothing to add.
TRY humor as it is all you have to offer.
Really, then where are the studies and/or anecdotal evidence?

Sounds like you.
Who needs evidence when you have an ideology?
General response which is only thinking on the surface. You think you answered a question but did not.
