I’d be excited for the breakthrough in modern Psychology …
I have heard through several reliable sources that certain strains of cannabis will get you quite stoneded.
I can currently confirm that is indeed the case. Those of the wax variety are said to be “extra dank” as the kids would say
Well there we go! Making science one toke at a time!
He has been trained to understand and interpret scientific studies. The man is actually paid for this skill among other things. More than once he’s illustrated how someone untrained in this skill has misunderstood the findings of a study. Or the weaknesses of a study.
Explains nothing in regards to how the business of the medical industry is run.
At any rate, I’m not going to watch the video. There is no point. As I’ve said many times, I favor the legalization or, at the minimum, decriminalization of marijuana and I also favor studying, even with taxpayer dollars, the medical impact of Marijuana.
Speaking of not answering questions. How does your this stance say anything of the studies that have already been conducted?
Thank God America is doing literally all of this
Dodgin bullets
Yes my hope that you would become more open minded and possibly watch and learn something from the video was quite short sided on my part.
As if having 8 years of education means that you know of medical marijuana developments. Tell me what part of education discusses that?
It’s about education or do you know it all?
Yes, I agree YOU don’t understand it.
Probably because that’s not what your post or the video is about…
You always make these really weird inferences from a single post.
I’m a certified management accountant with two degrees in accounting and am a Sr. business FP&A analyst and I’ve tried to explain why you’re so ignorantly wrong about the business of the medical industry probably two dozen times and you just ignore it.
Likely because you don’t like it and you can’t understand what I’m explaining to you.
Why would I feel inclined to answer questions when you so steadfastly refuse to?
I posted a meta-analysis of cannabis research in your last dumpster fire thread that concluded research on the benefits of cannabis are inconclusive. Cherry pick all you like. It makes no difference to me.
It’s short-sighted and I’m already open to the use of Marijuana for everything from personal consumption to medical applications. How much more open-minded do I need to be? Woke level blindly open-minded? Hard pass. Sorry not sorry that’s not how I operate.
He has more education in the medical field and specifically on how to design and interpret research than the vast majority of the people on this planet. If you can’t understand how that’s applicable I can’t help you.
It’s not that I don’t understand it. It’s that I don’t understand what in the world you’re after and who you’re trying to convince. Very few people are against studying the medical application of Marijuana on here.
You’re very strange and unintelligent.
Well there we go! Making science one toke at a time!
Coming from the brilliant mind that thinks medicinal cannabis is just an excuse for people to get high. Man the level of ignorance from some of the posters here is beyond embarrassing.
You get combative with everyone that disagrees with a word you say. You’re actively hurting the pro MJ push by being that idiot nobody wants to associate.
Otoh, I’ve been responsibly spreading information around weed research and my own personal experiences, having personally convinced dozens of people to support weed legalization and research.
You, and people like you, are the reason weed legalization is taking so long.
I’m a certified management accountant with two degrees in accounting and am a Sr. business FP&A analyst and I’ve tried to explain why you’re so ignorantly wrong about the business of the medical industry probably two dozen times and you just ignore it
And a brilliant counter argument coming from you in regards to my position that the medical industry is essentially run for profits primarily-profits over people was to post that they spend money on research. Anyone can see what a crummy retort that is.
Cherry pick all you like.
You like to blame others for what you are guilty of. When thousands upon thousands of people use medicinal cannabis for relief it doesn’t count because it has not been proven in a clinical trial. As if all of these people’s claims are not to be believed.
He has more education in the medical field and specifically on how to design and interpret research than the vast majority of the people on this planet. If you can’t understand how that’s applicable I can’t help you.
Again, says nothing of how the business is run and for who’s benefit.
Very few people are against studying the medical application of Marijuana.
Except for the medical industry and all of their lackeys in the FDA and Congress as it will take profits away from pharma companies as it already is. Thank God!
No propaganda is the reason why legalization takes so long and if it wasn’t for the public it never would have been legalized for medicinal usage as Big Pharma along with other industries who made profits by it’s illegal status lobbied against it. So they could financially benefit from the status quo of it’s position.
No, boss. That isn’t what happened.
Of course, private sector pharmaceutical companies are for profit. No one, not one single person, has ever said otherwise.
Even if that’s true, it doesn’t make the point any less relevant.
No one has said they aren’t getting “relief”. You are conflating things, as usual. People have a problem with you touting Marijuana as a cure or primary treatment for an ailment when there is little to no empirical evidence that Marijuana cures anything. As I said, the meta-analysis that was posted boiled down to the research is inconclusive and more is necessary.
If people get relief for X and it helps them eat because of Y, fantastic. That doesn’t make Marijuana a sacred plant that cures X or Y. You really can’t see/understand the difference, can you?
You didn’t ask him about how the business is run. Why would he answer a question that wasn’t asked? How would he even know to answer and unquestioned questioned?
Repeating a talking point doesn’t make it true. How many states have legalized Marijuana at this point?
30 state or 60%. In 2012 it was 9 or 18%. That number is only going to continue to go up.
Propaganda WAS why legalization was taking so long. As an actual resident of this country (instead of a keyboard warrior like you), the entire viewpoint of MJ has changed DRASTICALLY over the past couple decades.
People are, statistically, in favor of legalization en masse. People like you are now actively hurting the cause. I have to spend twice as long convincing people of its benefits and uses and lack of danger PURELY BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU.
You, and people like you, are the current biggest roadblock standing between here and legalization. You are horrible at conveying the message. I’ve been doing it successfully for years. I talk to people on their level, put it in terms they can understand, and actively convince them to make their voice heard at the polling station (the ONLY place it matters).
Its very similar to feminism. The concept of feminism is great, the arguments are great, everything is great. The only way it gets ruined is by loud people like you that are so bad at conveying a message they do more harm than good.
The absolute best good you can do, if you truly want legalization, is to shut the hell up and let people like me get the real work done
I liked this post for the amount of time it must have taken you to put all of those quotes together in such an unintelligible way!
Would the OP please learn how to properly quote someone you’re replying to? How can you make an argument when every post is an unintelligible mishmash of other people’s comments sprinkled in with your own replies?
Did you just copy and paste the whole thread?
