Incredible Program

Jim,

One of the best (if not the best) lifting programs I have ever used. Thanks for all of the killer info. One quick question: What do you think about following up your main lift with the same lift for 5x5 at about 70%. I have been using it this week and it kicks my ass so bad I can only do about one more assistance exercise.

Example:
Bench: 5/3/1
Bench: 5x5 @ 70% of 90% MAX
Closegrip Bench 5x10

I am not Jim, but there is no way I would choose close grip bench as your last acc movement. You just did 3 pressing movements. You need some kind of a pull to get your back work in. DB rows or pull ups would probably be your best bet. Anything but more pressing.
