Curious about the Russian prison system? IMHO those might be some of the hardest ppl on earth just based on watching a few documentaries.

I have never been to prison, in Russia or elsewhere, so I really do not know much about it. Russia does sentence people to “hard labor” which is horrible, and no one cares if the guards mistreat the prisoners, so I would imagine it sucks. Then again, prison is supposed to suck.

She is a very beautiful woman. She is actually from the same city as I am. Her father was a big shot in the party, but I don’t remember what he did. She was actually arrested a couple of years ago and was deported back to Russia.

Just came out Chapman tried to pull the Honey Trap with someone in the Obama Admin.

They should have used a pretty boy.[/quote]

Why, because it works on Repubs?

That is just unfair.

The last Republican I remember wanted to be hammered hard by a prostidude while being high on meth.

To even imply that a mere catamite would do is slanderous Sir!

Fly-guys.

Edit: :frowning:

Finally caught up with this thread. Awesome, thanks alot man, really. My father left Latvia during WWII (says he remembers seeing his older brothers on horseback & Soviet tanks on the horizon. Never saw them again) so I’ve always been fascinated by that part of the world. Your first hand accounts are super cool.

The comments about the difference in Chinese communism vs. Soviet communism are interesting. I think most people think communism is communism and the USSR = China, both are “red”. My mom made a comment about going through Checkpoint Charlie when she was in Berlin in the 60s and how anyone looking remotely Asian was pulled off the buses going through and were taken inside a building and detained there for hours. My mom’s bus was delayed 2 hours because of a family of Chinese who were detained. And you would think that since the Chinese were communist and the Soviets were communist they wouldn’t be so anti-Chinese, but now it makes sense.

Never thought the two were the same. Though I still assume everyone is North Korean, except for the lady that does my pedicures, she’s obvious Vietnamese.

Yes, I know you’re way smarter than me and more worldly wise and know way more things than I could ever hope to know, but you don’t need to keep pointing it out.
