No, ferritin just started syncing the day I started testosterone. It was at a steady 400 for over a year and then I started testosterone and it sank rapidly to where it is now .
Hm interesting. As much as I’ve read this happens when you give blood but I think also @systemlord struggled a bit with iron deficiency.
Won’t just some iron supplementation fix things up?
Yes. Though I have a pretty bad stomach and mental reaction to anything in the 65mg dose. Getting IV infusion in a few days
Increase in HCT and HG and Rbc does not cause this. It’s Alan underlying condition
That causes this issue.
Just like gyno.
Education is king. To much fear going on out there without any footwork to find the truth.
Docs to date have no clue why my ferritin goes down. But it DID speed up once I started TRT. That’s a fact of just what happened.
This??? What are you specifically referring to?? I assumed ferritin but not sure.
Blood clots and etc
It all depends on how you take it, how much and your lifestyle. Ive juiced moderately until I was 30. Never had a single issue with BP, cholesterol, sex drive, aggression or anything. But, I eat VERY clean, never drink, don’t smoke and get bloods often. When my thyroid gave out is when I started having all kinds of issues, test was never an issue. On TRT now and love it. Cholesterol went from 220 to 123, test is about 1500 ng. There is a lot of stigma around testosterone and you have to filter through all the bullshit.
I was off my rocker when thyroid gave out. Got Fat, moody, tired all the time, dick was broke. Found out all the years of juicing shut me off completely. Got thyroid meds and testosterone and feel like a million bucks.
Its the people who take 1000mg a week and eat like shit or are genetically predisposed that end up sick or dead. Start low, monitor bloods and dont over do it. You will be fine
Anyone ever get these semi rigid fat nodules from trt subq belly injections? If so, how do I make them go away?
I have had them a couple of times. They went away on their own after a week or two.
I accidentally Injected into one of them
…
The sub-q lumps go away in time. For what it’s worth I switched to daily IM in the delts after 6 months daily sub-q to experiment and I can’t tell a difference. Both are equally great. No nodules doing IM.
Half life. It is supposed to sit right under the fat and is normal. If it’s red and painful that’s no good. Probably allergic or infected…
Nah nothing red or painful. Just feels like a knotted fatty cyst. Though sometimes after pulling the needle out I have a classic John Crissler moment of blood.
I already laughed so hard about the last comments in June.
JO 2x 3x a day in sequence. Ah, youth days… but even with my low T I occasionally get days like that. Like once a year.
I know that feeling when any chick will do and you get random erections for anything. I think Cialis should be reduced…to probably half. Try it.
Not so funny about he low ferritin. You should see a gastro and/or an hematologist. Those values are very low, specially considering you had them on the 400s (which is a bit on the high side).
Are you taking curcumin ?
Weird switch areas.
Like @enackers said, switch areas. Go for the thigh maybe, you might just have too many vein where you are injecting.
Hemo is my iron proscribing doc
I don’t take cialis anymore. TRT has normalized to the point that I’m holding daily jerk sessions. Sometimes 3 times a day still.
Yes, but still important to track the cause of iron defiency.
Good God, your dick must look like a dishrag ![]()
