Regarding hct, Iv heard its platelets you gotta watch.
The worry is polycythemia, or too many red blood cells. HCT is the percentage of red blood cells that you have.
This is probably the best short video ever made on the risks of TRT:
And another from dr Rouzier on the same topic. If Rouzier says it I believe it. Rouzier has trained all the top docs in the country. He’s the authoritative voice if the hormone therapy industry. More important is the logic.
@enackers what does Dr r believe in injecting. Im or Subq?
i dont want to read all the replies so far. but i will say that testosterone enanthate should actually give you better boners and more interest in sex. also, be sure to gobble 5mg’s of cyalis every day if you can afford it.
dont fear this stuff. it’s awesome. you will probably become mentally addicted because of all the health and psychological benefits these drugs will bring you. yes, you will need to donate blood once every 4 or 6 months. not a big deal and the people at the clinic will think you are a great guy. ![]()
do not fear the unknown. these drugs are not really dangerous. give them a try for a month or two. be sure to get blood work done before you start so you know what your baseline is. good luck
I bet subq becusse he suggests daily shots. Daily IM would be torment ![]()
He uses cream where he can though.
For women the cream is like injections for men.
Maybe you should read and research like your names says because your advice goes against the common sense dicusssd around these forums. No offense, but you are using information before trt
Note from my doctor regarding my request for iron infusion.
“I’m a bit on the fence about that. On one hand, your hemoglobin is great, and usually people are not so tired or symptomatic a this level of ferritin. I would classify it as not deficient, but not leaving you much extra iron storage should you have more bleeding. Giving extra iron can help keep out of trouble from bleeding.
At the same time, when some patients have hemoglobin levels higher than normal from testosterone replacement, inducing a mild iron deficiency can help control this, and therefore reduce the risk of blood clots or stroke.
My preference would be to watch and start iron if it decreases further. But a compromise would be to start oral iron supplements. I’m fine with that too.”
No it won’t.
Buy some chelated iron and supplement. Infusions are a major mess you don’t really want to deal with anyway if you can avoid it.
I used to get infusions twice a year. Interesting that trt has introduced this new dynamic
Should be fine. The chelated iron is easier absorbed and I believe more quickly.
i’m not going to argue my points. that’s just my two cents. maybe i am wrong. take it leave it. of course the OP should do research, as he is doing, and find out what is best for his body.
I don’t have labido issues anymore and my hct and hgb is stable.
I can’t find a single recorded case of TRT causing blood clots.
Most of his guys use scrotal creams. He is fine with weekly injections though.
Yes and also my slightly elevated liver enzymes were back to normal in a matter of months
Wait which are you responding to?
Hi there, question, is libido when testosterone replacement related a dose dependent thing? For example if I have a weekly dose of 150 mg and my libido is very very high. If I lowered the dose to say 120 per week would the libido decrease a little bit? I’m only asking because the libido is so high it can be a little distracting during the day even while trying to work and I’m worried it’s going to get me into a little bit of “trouble”.
It’s an odd thing to Complain about because it’s not at all something that’s bad it’s just something I would rather see less of while my wife recovers the next three months from the pregnancy. And then increase the dose again once she’s ready again.
You need to jerk off sometimes. Sometimes i think I want a REAL bj on the side but I never take action. Would you want your wife to get a huge fat dick on the side once in a while?
You inject Subq?
