I just want to say that being “fed to death” is hilarious.
I am betting they are pissing people off in Ethiopia.
People can’t get breakfast “fly-free”, but these heifers are eating so much they can’t work and will die soon.
That’s so sad it isn’t funny.
We suck as a country for allowing people to do that free of any negative talk in public at all.
yeah, maybe it shouldn’t be ok for someone to use a scooter at Walmart simply because they are too lazy to endure walking in the store…not because they are injured.
Say what you want. We are the NEW Rome. Except we are moving along at a faster pace. The fat and lazy will die off. The new and hungry will work and take over.

I live in an area with a large South East Asian population.
You very very rarely see anyone that is more than “bit over weight” unless they are second generation or more.
Part of the problem is they lose some of the “home country” culture, and they stop eating like their parents and grand parents did. We are talking about Cambodians escaping genocide. They don’t eat like over privileged fuck heads, expecting every government handout available.
Fuckers will walk out in front of your car like it was nothing though.

6 yrs ago in Honolulu one of them fuckers ran a red light and bumped me with his car as I was crossing the street. Lucky for me he was going walking speed. I look over to curse him out as he creaped a
2MPH u-turn and the fucker rolled down his window stuck his 88+ year old head out and said “Hey do you know how to get to red hill I’m lost”.

Sorry threadjacked. Had to get that off my chest.
Another threadjack.
Always wanted to live in Honolulu, what’s it like there? How’s the job market?
Last month at work(hospital) I was listening to a nurse ask an obese patient what she would like to eat tomorrow. It’s all on a preplanned sheet with boxes you check off.
Anyway this women was choosing white bread not whole grain, 2% milk not skim, every choice she had she chose the less healthy one, it was sad.
I wanted to scream to her “YOUR IN THE CRITICAL CARE CENTRE YOU FUCKING MORON, YOU ALMOST DIED!”
Even a life threatening experiance can’t fix some folks. Not that eating whole grain bread would make any differance at this point.

It was great. The Job market sucked but I was military. Take NYC prices and put them on a island that’s Honolulu.

How many docs have you seen who smoke, are about 60lbs overweight and can barely breath while they examine a patient?
People are self destructive. The bad thing is they blame the final destruction on everything but themselves.

I know the Dr smoking and fat used to be really prevalent when I started in the field in the early 90’s. I really stopped seeing that trend over the last 5-8 years. Especially as older docs retire or die. New generation just do not smoke. Fat do not know.
I will say that 90% of the residents I ever worked with in ER’s etc were not American so that 90% were not overweight.

I agree with that. It seemed to be strange to many that there were at least 3 guys in my class who were pretty big as far as weight lifting. The trend is far less lately in the medical field.
In fact, I would say honestly I see more “fit” people getting into business and even health related fields. the average guy/woman who comes to our office under the age of 40 who is either a CPA, lawyer or businessperson isn’t built but they seem to look more like they at least watch what they eat.
I hope there is a huge backlash that does NOT involve skinny jeans. That trend of fat kids so fat they have rolls being seen as “normal” needs to die quickly.
I think the country is going to be half and half…then one side will fall into the ocean.
^ hahahaahahahaahahaahaha OR the fat half will eat each other. Zombieland 101 Cardio.
Us in the medical field see the writing on the wall, but I do not know if this country is prepared for the fact that less and less of our countries best and brightest are going into medicine. I have no problem with foreign Dr’s coming for and education and better life here in our great land. HOWEVER med schools better start looking at the demographics. Not to be racist but how many new Doctors office here in Houston are run by Americans?

Very few. I have had many comments from patients about that as well. The average doc in America is slowly becoming foreign born.
Well…at least we have thousands of Americans who think an internet search is the same as a 4 year degree!!!
^ hahahaahahahahahaahaha I was getting on to one of my techs the other day he was on WebMD trying to diagnose another one with “Gas” she had pain to her left side anterior chest. I wanted to slap him. I told him you fucking tard she has had an URI for the past 2 weeks and has been coughing all damn day.
