I'm Disgusted With Our Courts

lock him away and make him listen to new kids on the block for the rest of his life…that should be the punishment for captured terrorists…make em suck down crappy american culture for the next 70 years

Also, it was reported that in weighing the ‘mitigating factors’, the jury considered that Moussaoui had endured some racism and had a mean father.

LOL. I suppose. To me this means the law is considering things it shouldn’t, perhaps. That can be changed.

I’d rather the jury considered his role and whether or not he played enough of a direct role, according to the law, to be afforded the death penalty. I mean, it isn’t awarded for jay-walking, no matter how much you hate the guy doing it.

If he were executed he would be a martyr in his eyes. Instead he gets to spend the rest of his life in solitary thinking about how all these other terrorists accomplished something- blowing something up, martyrdom, etc- while his achievements amount to a big fat “O”. As soon as he’s near anyone though he’ll just get shanked anyway.

I like the idea of life in prison for terrorists anyway; why let them go with a bang when you can let them rot away with a whimper?

I personally like the idea of letting him go to a normal prison. Where he would be in 24/7 contact with pissed off Americans.

I am inclined to believe that life in prison is a much worse punishment than death. Especially for a martyr-seeking ass like this.

I like the idea of silencing these bastards in jail, rather than immortalizing them through death.[/quote]

This is the so true. If he were to die, then he is a hero. To die captive is major dishonor and insulting. It’s worth it to teach them that we will not succumb to their fear tactics and glorify their missions. Treat them like mangy mutts, throw them in a pen and ingnore them.

If he were to go to say Angola or Beaumont, those inmates would make a gyro out of him in no time. Prisoners are still some very patriotic people even thought they are in the penal system.

Just reading that is enough to make your nuts roll up into your stomach.

Agreed, wholeheartedly!

I said the tool is an Islam-o-loser.

He was so pathetic the FBI nabbed him.

Al Queda knew this guy was a joke and now so do we.

Now, if he had been put to death, he would have been considererd a martyr to the cause (as stated before), and would have gone to heaven, etc.

But…

How about if the method of execution was to be, say, eaten by pigs? I’m would imagine that if one is not supposed to touch a pig, being eaten by one might jeopardize entry into heaven.

This way, he dies, but no shiny heaven with 70+ virgins etc. Win-win!

Definitely adds a twist to the statement that pork will kill you. LOL!
