If you Hate Cops, this Story won't Change your Opinion

Ok you’re a cop you pull over a car rolling through a red light or stop sign. As soon as they come to a stop two women go running out of the car. Ummmm I’m gonna draw my gun. For all you know they have weapons and or are trying to flee cause they have drugs or something.

You would’ve shot somebody running out their car at the fucking emergency entrance of a hospital? Not stop to wonder if maybe the reason they sped to the hospital and ran in was that their was an EMERGENCY?

How would you have handled it?

He didn’t say he would shoot them. And did you ever think that a real criminal might think its a good idea to pretend he’s going into the hospital? You’re not a criminal, you don’t think that way. The cop was a jerkoff, but you bet your ass everyone in that car should have been detained until it was verified that they were legitimately going to the hospital, which should take no more then a minute just by talking to the people. You can see it in someone pretty easily if they are bullshitting. There is a difference between being a cop, and a police officer. unfortunately it’s a hard job to be good at, and not everyone who does it should.

I see it different; I see it as we have too many cops. And the reason is the war on drugs .If we had fewer cops there would be less time for the cops to waste, like in the original video. That cop had a reason to give a traffic citation and that is it. What was he looking for? Why could he not just give him the citation and allow the people to go? Why should he detain everyone in the car until he knows what is going on? It is none of his business

I’m not going to argue about the whole war on drugs thing, you may be right. However the laws made as a result of that nonsense do exist. However, police have no control over what laws are made, that is for the politicians, but they do have to enforce them. That is what they get paid to do. A lot of illegal things are found on traffic stops, but like I said before, all it takes is a minute to see if the people are lying about going to visit a dying relative. That’s a tall tale to spin convincingly, and that is where this officer came up woefully short.

Don’t you think you might be exaggerating just a little bit there?

mike
no sir, not one bit

in this video example note where the officer is said to state
“I have been here for 6 weeks trying to stay alive,go home”

why does that even mater if his actions are selfless in nature?
look the pro LE people can make up and twist everything and we can go around and around with it all we want and never get anywhere.
its like speaking religion.
I have nothing against you and I have nothing against the good cops the ones that do their jobs.
fact is though, theres more officers that do not do their jobs compared to the ones that do.
and to be fair we never hear about the good ones, the public only hears of the bad ones.

well lets get rid of the bad ones then.
we all know who they are and when you do wrong whats with the “paid leave pending” shit, no lock them up,beat their asses like the public would get beat.
if they are out of line put them back in line, I mean it is your jobs right?
no, thats right, they are your “brother” you cant do harm to them, you cant snitch on them
they get better treatment than a stranger.

what happened to no one above the law.

Right, but the problem is that when you join the police force you do so knowing that you will be enforcing bullshit laws. This makes cops enablers of tyrants. Their willingness to enforce bullshit laws makes them almost as guilty as the guy who writes the law.

There’s a simple solution to this…don’t join the police force until lawmakers unfuck themselves.

I said nothing about any of this you are rambling on about. I just said that you’re likely stretching it a little to say that there is not one cop willing to risk his life to help a citizen.

your right, it is retarded.
but I had an idea and went with it.

the only part realy directed to you was when i said
no sir, not one bit

rest of it is rambling at its best.
sorry,

Oh, the taser. More and more people are getting killed by those, because cops are too scared things may get physical, female and too weak to deal with a suspect or too eager to try out their new toy.

I also hate when a cop tells someone to do something, that person refuses but is not threatening anyone or attacking the cop, but the cop gets agitated at the non-compliance and warns the person they better do such and such or they’ll get peppper sprayed, the person does nothing and the cop sprays them. I’ve seen that a lot. Hate it.

The war on drugs is dividing America, if it weren’t for the war on drugs cops would not care if you were lying unless they were looking for the guy that just robbed the bank or just raped your neighbor. We could have problems like France, where Americans get tired of being bullied by the police looking for the boogie man

happens to people of color all the time.

Ditto to everything. I’ve met one police officer that if he were under fire and required my assistance I would stop doing what I was doing and help him. One, in my entire existence being the wrong color. Y’all can form a line to suck my dick if you don’t think racial profiling is used by many and mainly by rookies looking to sharpen their teeth. Good, fucking pig deserves to be a rent-a-cop at a Wal-Mart.
Mikeyali wrote:

mike
and that will never happen.

EDIT: but that is what makes discretion such an important part of the job

making a universal statement that all cops are bad or even 90% of the cops are bad just throws the rest of what you are saying into the wind.

of course cops use racial/ethnic/gender/age/local profiling as do marketing firms, hiring firms, media, etc.

and as do individuals, we judge people based on past experiences with those of similar circumstances… even if you say you don’t, you do, it’s a subconscious act
