I work for Cali state patrol. I don’t have alot of time to train. Maybe three days a week
any ideas for what program to use for overall strength wellness and conditioning would be welcome.
Thanks

ummmm…
Do you have any specific goals?
You can just run and do pushups and pullups and be considered “fit” after a few months of this. But I must say it’s hard to help people that don’t even know what they want.
Lookup “Starting Strength” for a good beginner strength program. If you are looking for conditioning as well I would just pick a sport you like and train like those athletes train. It’s a lot simpler to gage progress when you have an event you can measure yourself against.
For example, I train like a boxer to keep myself conditioned, overall though I do not compete at any level. I do lots of rope skipping, bodyweight conditioning, and heavy bag hitting.
I know you say you don’t have lots of time but really you could be extremely badass with just 30min a day 4 or 5 days a week. The key is consistency and effort. It helps to also have a goal in mind. Pick an activity that will motivate you to train with intensity and not bore you to tears – e.g., if you hate running, swimming, and biking don’t decide on training for a triathlon.
good luck!
Thanks for the feedback and ideas
I would like to be a stronger version of a basketball player

That’s not specific at all. You want to be stronger than Kobe, or Shaq?
Here’s a program for strength gains :Articles Archives - Official Website of Joe DeFranco & DeFranco’s Gym!.
You can do “overall training” at home unequipped more than 3 times per week.
Thank you very much that is a great web site and a big help !!!
More like Kobe but I don’t have the mom and dad for
that
