Socialism is the political expression of the morality of unselfishness (altruism). The goal is to punish the productive members of society, for the alleged ‘benefit’ of the poor huddled masses. The idea of benevolence has been so abused throughout history that one wonders about its origins.

There’s the trouble in a nutshell: once the money is harvested from the taxpayers, it becomes anonymous money. People who would normally be very law-abiding and never steal from their neighbors, happily spend this anonymous pool of money without a second thought.
People have been taught to ignore cause-and-effect. Someone had to produce the wealth that governments happily distribute. What if the people who produced that wealth didn’t want to contribute? Must someone’s wealth be confiscated because some politicians convinced idiots to vote for him? Should your life savings be taken because you don’t want to help build a day care center or pay for some old person’s power chair?
Remember always that there is Justice. The economic collapse we’re enduring is due to altruism — helping the poor have homes led to abuse and a raping of the taxpayers. Such is Justice. Your society will now collapse into a chaos of ruin and slaughter.
