This guy knows whats up… 5 x 5 animal style with animal style fries. I could eat that any day.

…COOKED IN THE SAUCE…
WTF does that mean?

Animal Style burgers include pickles, extra spread, grilled onions, and mustard fried onto each meat patty.

Why don’t we have so many burger places like these in the UK?!?!?!

I want to try one of those big 1lb burgers. Yet another reason to get out to the US.

Everywhere here is either McD’s (crap) or BurgerKing (Not bad but they tend to overcook the meat IMO).

The Gospel truth right there.

Mos Burger in Tokyo. I’ve never had such a delectable meal.

I also like Rockne’s burgers. I ordered the fajitas and burger today and piled the stirfry on the burger. It’s awesome. Dunno if you got them in Oz though.

In n Out, animal style, double cheese, with grilled onions and a side of fries also animal style.

if you ask they will also throw the pickles and tomatoes on the grill for a quick char

Ruby Tuesday’s?

no tthe best but you can get 2 double (cheese or plain) burgers for 3$

Perfect for those heavy squat and DL days.

While they’re not my favorite, I have to say Dairy Queen’s double cheeseburgers (not the 1/2 pounders, the smaller ones) are some tasty little things. Yeah, they cost 3x what a McD’s double cheeseburger does, but you know where that money goes when you take the first char-broiled bite.

Oh, and Fuddruckers > 5 Guys.

+1 for Red Robin. Their Monster Burger is probably my favorite burger.

You can’t forget the Double Bacon Western Cheeseburger at Carl’s Jr.

Bun, Onion Rings, Beef, Cheese, Bacon, BBQ sauce!

Also, I ate at the original Five Guys in D.C. a few years ago, and it was one of worst burgers I’ve ever had. Go figure.

Good sir you lie!

Lol come on man a 2 patty burger with fries served up in a brown bag, it’s amazing!
I’m telling you, it was tasteless, it was like a cafeteria burger.

With all the fantastic things I’ve heard about Five Guys, I have to believe that the highly qualified Five Guys cook was just having an off-day, or something…

Anyway, they recently put a Five Guys in about 1/2 mile from my work, I’ll have to give it another try.

I assume the question mark means you’ve never heard of a Ruby Tuesdays?

Or, are you proposing that restaurant as having the best burgers?

Big Kahuna Burger with a large Sprite. Now that’s a tasty burger…
I was wondering why this took so long!

Thanks VanderLaan.

The Char-grill in Raleigh, NC. All the way means mustard onion, slaw, and chili. Ketchup only goes on fries.

El’s in Morehead City, a real drive in. The same ladies have been car hopping since the stone age! Damn they have great home made slaw there!

(The shrimp burger is to die for)

I don’t believe they have the best burgers, but they deserve an honorable mention, and I didn’t see them in the thread.

At this point I think we’re scraping the bottom of the barrell for who has good cheeseburgers, as everyones favorite has probably already been mentioned.

And another +1 for Big Kahuna Burger, that Hawaiian joint.

That is a good one.

Whataburger has the best fast food burgers in the world. The best burger I’ve ever had was at a hole in the wall called Sams burgers in third ward here in Houston. I have no idea who Sam is 'cause it’s run by a whole bunch of vietnamese ladies, but their burgers kill all others. Never had Red robin, gonna have to check it out.
