I’m just finishing up Phase 2 of IBB and I;m having some issues and I want to ge them out of the way so I can continue.
A little back ground on myself, I work as an independent contractor in Afghanistan and use every available minute I have to meet my goals.

The food quality sucks horribly as we have Pakistani cooks who use oil in everything and have no clue how to prepare meat properly. Most of the diet is carb based or basic vegetables.
That makes it next to impossible to have good nutrition and have a solid shit, not trying to be funny but I have had the squirts since July.

My questions seem retarded but I need to know if I’m doing something wrong.

  1. Every time I eat the FINiBARs before training I feel sick, bloated and usually wind up running to the toilet after my second set…can I space them out or eat them while I lift?

  2. What type of diet should you maintain while you’re on the program?

  3. Is it possible to get the same results the second time around without the original supplement package?

  4. I havent tweaked anything in the past two phases, I take everything on the exact minute, but I don’t feel like I’m getting anywhere…I’m keeping an open mind I think the program is badass and I’m sticking it out until the finish but I feel like I’m spinning my wheels.
    Is this common for those who aren’t used to the program?

Thats all I can think of for now. I want to make sure I’m not jacked up or doing anything wrong so I can follow the program to a T.

If you don’t have access to quality food, you are going to have trouble making progress no matter what type of program you are on.

If you are eating 3 FINiBARs preworkout and feel sick, drop down to 1 and if you feel good then up it to 2.

Even if we did have good food it would still come out in a spray. You can’t come to this country and expect not to get something that will turn your stomach into battery acid.
Improvise, adapt and all the rest of that stupidity I guess.

Thanks for the advice about cutting back on the bars, I started 5/3/1 back in Spring of 2009 while I was here and I’ve never had to stick to a strict regimine.
I didn’t want to tweak anything without checking myself first.

Have you tried IBB without the entire package by any chance?

First check what type of oil is being used make sure its not Ghee, which is congealed fat.

There are plenty of Pakistani Bar bq dishes incase you dont like the ones made in oil or rice.

Second where do you get your meat and food, is it part of the Nato supply etc…

Your stomach problem is mostly due to water and the vegetables…i know you drink bottled water but the fresh veggies you eat are most probab not washed with their regular tap water

I think it’s the same stuff they use in Iraq…it’s called Dog Du, swear to God!! We try and stay away from the veggies and I’ve only eatne them twice but now have the eternal shits 5 times a day.

Our supply of food is brought over the border since were on our own out here and not really a part of NATO.

I would buy my own stuff but it’s expensive as all hell, and unlike most contractors who have a private collection of Harleys and other dumb shit, I’m livin as cheap as I can right now savin’ up my shinies for my next real estate investment.

So far a ton of good advice from you guys.
