If I’m spending 5 or 6 bucks on fast food I’m getting Chipotle. Can’t beat a chicken fajita bowl. I can’t imagine wasting my money on a giant roll and deli meats.
Chipotle is really good too - one of their meat burritos with rice and corn will give you a ton of protein and carbs…and fat. Very tasty, a solid meal. Just have to NOT buy that big bag of tortilla chips to go with it…lol…

My favorite is a fajita salad with double meat, usually steak and chicken, cheese, salsa, guac and cream. The bomb.

I bet you didn’t know they cook all of their food with soybean oil.

Then you should be sharing your thoughts and feelings somewhere else, not in a community that subscribes to the “the intelligent and relentless pursuit of muscle”.
You’re fully entitled to your own lifestyle, and if it’s working for you more power to you, but you should discuss it where others share a similar desire and that isn’t here.
If your really short on time and money you can go to Mc Donalds. Get a .99 double cheese burger and a .99 chicken sandwich plain. open up the sandwiches and put the chicken patty between the meat patties of the double cheese burger.
Callad a double mc clucks deluxe… for less than 2 bucks its pretty awesome. Try it
Wendy’s is probably the best national chain fast food, but here in Texas [and other parts of the South I think] we have Whataburger. Best fast food burger you’ll ever have, guaranteed.

I ate Subway for the first time in about 14 years.
I got no problem with some chubby schlub doing their marketing; some of their choices are not bad.
I got a foot long hero with whole wheat bread, turkey, roast beef, ham, provolone cheese, multiple vegetables, and some mayonnaise (gasp).
I <3 Subway.
I’m glad you’ve found a restaurant that suits your new mediocre lifestyle. Congrats.

Seriously. You know your stuff and contribute (mostly) informative posts, but I just don’t understand these threads about your non-bodybuilder lifestyle.
Besides, what self-respecting Brooklyn boy goes to Subway instead of a Mom-n-Pop sub shop?
HAHAHAHA, welllll, ok I’m out of East NY Brooklyn and I can remember cutting out of TJ Highschool to go and get a Hero and a bag of wise chips damn good stuff with that italian bread crisp on the outside soft in the middle yeahhhhh, Good stuff
But yeah I’m also guilty of Subway now
Maybe because I’m out of NY for a couple years now but hell I’ll do a tripple Meat Chicken breast on flat bread and be good to go…Didn’t feel my shame until your post damn I’m a sell out.

Being a jersey boy, I like old school sub shops so much better. It’s like comparing NY pizza to dominos. A good sub shop will use better bread, better meat, and be a lot more generous with the meat. Subway barely puts any meat on their sandwiches. Yours was probably ok because you got 3 different kinds. Try getting just turkey and they’ll put like 2 slices on there.
Also… I hate the way they cut the bread not all the way through and then start piling the meat on the crease. Then cheese, then lettuce, then tomatoe. So then when you close the sandwich and try to eat it… you get one bite that is all tomatoe and lettuce and then another bite that is all meat. It’s fucking retarded. Maybe I’m a sub snob. And I’m from north jersey so I don’t say hoagie or grinder… EVER!
Subway fucking blows if you ask me.
SO little meat. I’m sure that Jared dude lost weight from mostly muscle loss due to so little protein.
Fuck Subway. They should call it Sub Par, or No Way, or Suck Way.

Have pity on the less fortunate ID, not everyone can have extra meat like your avvie.

I hate the smell of Subway.
Yeah what’s up with that anyways? There is a Subway under my second floor gym and it puts a stank on half the cardio area.
Lol. I use to be a bank teller and Subway would always come in with their money in those white cookie bags. My cash drawer would smell like that place all day, no joke.
I just get 3 McDoubles at McDonalds when I need to get fast food. It comes down to $4.71 Canadian after taxes.
I haven’t done extensive research, but I think it’s the best “grams of protien/dollar rate” I can get with fast food. If anybody in Canada knows a better way involving fast food feel free to let me know :). Sometimes I’ll get 4, but it’s the money more than anything that stops me from getting more than 3 when I do eat them.
Also: Quiznos>>>>>>>>>Subway. This is not up for debate.
I just prefer Subway over Quiznos because I can heavily customize my sandwich. At Quiznos they’re sneaky tricksters who block your view of the sandwich while it is being made.
