I’m sure this applies to more than just AAS users but very specifically to them. In the time I’ve spent here and through my own experience I have an observation to share. Those of us that weight train and use AAS (those that take both seriously anyway) know our bodies very well. In the posts that I’ve read and again in my own experience we all seem to know what is going with our bodies extremely well. If something aches, we know what it is and why. We usually know how to properly treat the affliction as well. I have never really thought much about it before today but I don’t think most people know their bodies so well.
I know that if I have to go to the doctor for something 99/100 times I can tell the doctor what is wrong and what I need for it. I think this level of self-awareness is something that everyone should strive for whether using steroids or not. The thirst for knowledge that is shared by many posters on this forum is one of the things that has kept me coming back here. I guess this is a pat on the back for those of you that share the belief that you can never know too much about anything… Especially your own body. You all know who you are.
I’ve always thought AAS users if not abusing are much healthier individuals. Yes there are risks but we take care of our bodies to the extreme and never let things get out of control.
Hell my doctor wis a huge fan of AAS and says he thorougly believes AAS users are significantly healthier individuals. By AAS he means people running test only or test with a single proven compound like dbol and follow proper PCT regimens.
This doesn’t apply to all AAS users. As evidenced by the droves of posters we get that have no idea wheat they are doing. Those that research, learn, and apply properly are the ones you are talking about. They are the same ones I’m talking about. We have guys on this forum that probably know as much or more about AAS and the human body as most physicians. This is the type of knowledge that everyone should strive for. I personally want to know everything I can about anything. For no other reason than that I believe knowledge is power and you can never have too much. This forum is a great place to be because of this often shared attitude.

x2. Although I’m just on my first cycle I have been reading about AAS since April/May of 2014. Little compared to some of the veterans here but damn I realize I know more about my body and hormones, etc than 98% of people. I have already helped 3 friends from cycling total dumbass cycles that would’ve ruined them… Imagine one kid said he had a “trainer” who recommended he go on winny only… he has never been to the gym in his life… Another kid was about to start a dbol/anadrol only cycle…

So very true my friend. We become dr’s in our own rights with our own bodies.I cant tell you how many times ive had to research different things that ive encountered and treated and reversed these conditions myself without the help of an outside dr or scripts.
Especially when it comes to AAS users (such as myself). So few dr’s know enough about how they act in ones body and how to accurately read ones blood tests when on cycle. So many times in the past (whenever I had a new dr) have I gotten bad advice based on what they read in my tests and had to correct them.
On a side note, ive always told my dr’s that I use to help them better gauge where im at physically and to try to prevent red flags from being thrown up with my results.Have always felt its the best way and after over 3 decades of cycling, ive never had any issues with this so why change now?
