How to Win a PWI Argument

Gutter slut. I like that one.

I make broader points… it’s not just obscenities. I actually get a lot of compliments from people on here about my posts in the PWI forum. I just like swearing and don’t care who I offend. If you don’t like profanity, you’re probably too soft for politics.

And believe it or not I do talk to real politicians in the same kind of tone. I find throwing some curses in there relaxes them… so much PC talk makes even Democrats crazy.
I like your style, even when you’re being a mother-fucker-cocksucker. I try to be civil in here, but no one is perfect and I have been down to the gutters pletny of times. I just like the fact that different alliances can be formed on different political threads. In one recent thread on torture, Dhickey called me a worthless troll or something and blocked me, and in the very next thread on abortion I think, we were in exact agreement. Me and push on the other hand, Agree on abortion, and disagree on creation VS evolution. Orion and I have similar libertarian viewpoints, yet we disagree on abortion topics. Irish, I think we have been in agreement recently in one thread or another, if I’m not mistaken.

It’s all good and hopefully when we all meet back up in GALOT we can bust balls and goof off without taking PWI with us.

Hahaha. Being a Democrat on this board is not easy. I don’t call it the GOP Blowjob Barn for nothing.

Of course, I leave everything in this forum. The only people who irritate me are the ones who quite obviously don’t lift weights (like Jeff R) and have no other reason for being on this site than arguing politics.

Even HH I don’t mind outside of PWI. My life is too fucking busy to be overly concerned with what people say on a message board.

No truth exists independently of perception. You may think you know the true, but in fact be wrong. Happens all the time.

It’s The Game and you all just lost.

If your statement is true then the sciences and other fields of study would not be possible. For example, space is not perceivable but yet knowledge of it is required to have any understanding of the physical universe. Space can only be understood through intuition.

It is possible to make mistakes based on objects that are not perceptible (f.e., space or time) but those are only intuitive errors in judgment and do not make any reference to perception.

Oh fuck, I get it now.

Well played!!

yes, I am slow.
Thanks. I’m glad somebody did get it. I gave a speech in Toastmasters 2 weeks ago about lessons I’ve learned over the years, including how use of phrases like this stifles debate (and indicates a liar or a scoundrel.)

Well, anyone who doesn’t come to the same conclusions as I do when hearing an argument is obviously a dumbass whose opinion is worthless.

Moreover, perception is based on the projections of truth, or reality, you receive from other people. You need to choose what projections you accept and what reality you decide to create for yourself. You should also be aware of what you project to other people.

Remember the idea that you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with? Those five project their versions of reality on you (and you on them) and everybody adapts to the truth / reality of the group.

Adam Savage’s quote “I reject your reality and substitute my own” is a lot more profound than you might think at first glance.

Solipsism.
