Meh, I was just trying to come up with anything I could think of off the top of my head.

If she needs $100 for the electricity bill she should just go on one of those pay day cash loan sites where you can basically get the cash in your bank account within a matter of hours, depending on the service and checks, or a day at the latest. Most of those websites don’t even do extensive credit checks and there are services where you can get loans regardless of your credit score. Of course you end up paying pretty high interest rates but it’s only on $100. If it’s an emergency it doesn’t matter anyway.
Other than that, if you really need some quick cash just check out Craigslist or an alternative jobs website for casual/one-off work. Those people posting one-off jobs usually need work done immediately.

If that’s the case, this is horrible advise about going to Pay Day Loans. You should never go from owing someone who is not cut throat to owing someone who is cut throat. The electric company will work with her. She can pay whatever she can afford, say an extra 20 bucks a month until she’s caught up. They won’t cut her off her service, tack on fees or anything like that.
All she has to do is put in a little good faith effort. It’s the same with medical bills. Never take on an interest accumulating loan to pay off a medical bill. Medical bills you can pay off interest free over time. Only go to Payday Loans if someone named Guido is going to be paying you a visit if you don’t.

I suppose if you really went nuts with the power usage for a month or two they might up your price, but IDK. The down side would be if you have a couple months out of the year where you hardly use any power(fall or spring where it is just right so you don’t run the AC or furnace), you still pay the same amount(even though it might be higher).
I just started the plasma thing, in this area, it is $50 a pop, and you can do it twice in a week.
