A new leaked report to the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) - a body which was the source of the original “global warming” claims - has said that new evidence shows that the earth is actually cooling down rather than heating up.
The IPCC says it is “95 percent confident” that global warming has been caused by humans - up from 90 percent in 2007 - according to the draft report.
However, US climate expert Professor Judith Curry has questioned how this can be true as that rather than increasing in confidence, “uncertainty is getting bigger” within the academic community.
Long-term cycles in ocean temperature, she said, suggest the world may be approaching a period similar to that from 1965 to 1975, when there was a clear cooling trend.
At the time some scientists forecast an imminent ice age.

It was a draft report from the IPCC that was leaked to the media. I don’t have a copy of it. It was reported throughout numerous international news agencies. They didn’t just make it up. The IPCC does not dispute the existence of the report and neither does anyone else.

People ARE disputing the idea that this is somehow proof that climate change is not occurring at the hands of people. This report says nothing of the issue at hand.

The Obama administration is working to forge a sweeping international climate change agreement to compel nations to cut their planet-warming fossil fuel emissions, but without ratification from Congress.
But under the Constitution, a president may enter into a legally binding treaty only if it is approved by a two-thirds majority of the Senate.
To sidestep that requirement, President Obama?s climate negotiators are devising what they call a ?politically binding? deal that would ?name and shame? countries into cutting their emissions. The deal is likely to face strong objections from Republicans on Capitol Hill and from poor countries around the world, but negotiators say it may be the only realistic path.
This was covered in the thread earlier. Earth’s leading scientists are coming to a consensus that due to global warming we have higher levels of moisture in the air. This moisture is funneled down to the Antarctica via a the natural air flows to the South Pole and is deposited there.
This is leading the the planet to being bottom heavy but the “earth is not a Weeble” according to scientist, and this will actually tilt the access from it’s current 23 degrees all the way to a full 90 degrees which will end the seasons on earth and, of course, end global warming by sending us into the next ice age.
Of course, the ice cap is growing. Global warming causes prostate cancer and soggy Froot Loops so why wouldn’t it cause an increase in the amount of Arctic ice?
