How Have Steroids Impacted Your Life?

I’m not talking about you or your lifting. I’m talking about the mature posters on this site who are serious about lifting and serious about AAS use giving your post exactly the reaction I’d expect.

You wouldn’t need to look hard to find similar threads.

you school hacking now to huh? taking those quick summer blasts to get the credits without learning much.

hate to break it to you buddy, but med school applications are all about 3 things.

1.GPA
2.MCAT
3. Clinical experience

4.0 GpA, ALREADY 96th percentile MCAT, and i’m an intern at an orthopedic clinic. what more do you want me to succeed at? lmao i’m supposed to be a freshman rn. i’m a junior. give me time d*ckhead jesus

if i didn’t learn too much, sure doesn’t show on my mcat brother lmao

uh huh, all you’re doing here is trolling.

oh how you wish that was the truth…

You will be and should never be considered natural again. You already took that shortcut so “natural” label is out.

are you in med school?

no i’m in college at LSU. considered a little bit into junior year as of right now

that’s fine w me! “natural” is overrated anyways haha

Medicine is my dream career, (endocrinology) however ATM I’m not mature enough to handle the workload, I have fairly severe, yet unmedicated ADHD (don’t like stimulants, suppress my appetite too much, however if push comes to shove it may be the only option). I need better grades to get into med school, need straight A+'s to get in undergrad, which won’t happen, thus I’m gonna do biomed (just need to average a B, which is EXTREMELY achievable), then hopefully during biomed I’ll be more mature, in which I’ll do very well, transfer and yeet.

Unless of course I become a rockstar (jokes)

Please stop putting so freaking much personal info out there. Not that it matters but I believe you have a decent head on your shoulders, now start using common sense.

You are 19, Sophomore at LSU with 4.0 GPA. Not to mention you are ortho intern, also med student?

That may be enough to ID you. Please think before putting anymore personal info out and consider deleting your personal info already disclosed. You dont need to prove yourself to anyone. Don’t let ego get the best.

EDIT: Junior at LSU, not med school yet

lmao i’m not worried about that. i know a few of my friends that are also pre med, with a 4.0. not ortho interns but that information is private, didn’t tell y’all what city i intern at. you’re acting like i gave you my social security lmao. i’m good i promise brother thank you tho  and if you didn’t know it’s illegal to disclose grades to anyone but myself as far as LSU goes. my parents can’t even see my grades

same here. been diagnosed with ADHD since first grade. something that personally helps me studying is the devils lettuce, but that’s just me. also prescribed adderall but it makes me feel like a damn meth head and is of course bad for the gains hahaha. yeah it’s a lot of workload but i promise it’s all worth it in the end. like i always say, work hard, play harder :muscle:t3: and yeah med school application is pretty hard… 3.8+ GPA or you’re not even considered. then the MCAT… it’s a lot to stress over!

We don’t have GPA here, it’s star (which affects the course you get into uni for) after that no one gives a shit about high school grades anymore. So you can get into med school independently of atar score.

The devils lettuce, I’ve never tried it for studying, I’ve had it engrained into my head via both parental guardians vehemently that using marijuana is one of the worst things you can do to yourself, that it’d turn me into a lazy, demotivated good for nothing. Granted I don’t believe half the shit they’ve taught me about said lettuce, and from personal experi… I mean I’ve never used recreational drugs.

In all seriousness, I’ve never (personally) noticed any negative from using marijuana, on the contrary I find it decreases my anxiety and (depending on how much I use), a very small amount can actually help with creativity. That’s just me though, and I’m sure the effect it has on the developing brain isn’t great, I don’t use often. Used to be like 2x/year, now it’s a bit more frequent, but still not frequently enough to say I use regularly or even semi regularly, I don’t exactly keep track, depends on various circumstances. It’s an occasional thing I do for fun if I don’t have anything serious going on at the time and I’m with friends, oh and I don’t use during the school term… ever…

With that in mind, school holidays start THIS FRIDAY… I’m sure I’ll spend like 70 percent of it in the gym lol.

sounds like you might get to it hahaha. i’ve actually seen in research that kids with ADHD are around 75% (don’t know exact percent) more likely to smoke weed. something to do with serotonin receptors in the brain. but yeah honestly depends on strain. indica is the body high, it makes you lazy. sativa is the brain high, it makes you energetic and focused (for some). i like sativa for when i have to study for a test, it makes it enjoyable in a way when we both know studying for advanced physics is in no way enjoyable hahaha. just my personal choice. & yes, many things parents engrave in our heads is false. if weed was that bad it would not be legalized in many states as of right now! that’s why i take these steroid claims with a grain of salt, because i do not plan on blasting crazy dosages, and even bodybuilders who have gone ape shit on them are growing old and relatively healthy with many kids. but who knows, we will see how i end up! haha

might use it once on the holidays for fun with a friend or two. Marijuana may still be legalised even if it’s unhealthy due to the high amount of tax revenue that can be made on it and the hit organised crime may take if we legalise weed. The thought that I might be supporting a cartel/ gang kills me a little bit inside.

Do you smoke studying for every test? That oughta mean you use quite frequently no? Be careful with that (I mean I’m not you’re dad, but be careful ya know)

Anabolic steroids are serious drugs with the potential to do serious harm if you aren’t very careful, the biggest risk is the development of cardiomyopathy and early onset heart failure. Aside from that there is the (admittedly fairly high) chance you’ll need to blast and cruise for life. There’s plenty of bodybuilders who aren’t healthy too, it boils down to genetics, lifestyle and a myriad of other factors. I tend to drink alcohol, about one beer per week (although occasionally at a parties I’ll have a lot more, but those events are once again few and far in between), alcohol puts immense strain on the cardiovascular system, so does gear, other factors such as shitty diet, drug use (if you use recreational drugs, I don’t know) and whatnot. It all adds up, the steroid claims aren’t BS… be very, VERY careful.

This explains everything.

don’t know what you mean by this, i am guessing it is probably in relation to my attitude haha.

Personally steroids has made the last 5 years of my life very very difficult, suffering from gyno since age 17 from prohormones which was plain stupidity on my part but I’m paying for it, talk about absolute confidence killer. It’s expensive to have it removed as well $5,500 to be exact & a month off work plus it’s highly uncomfortable. I’m only 22 but luckily I have a really good job & a better head on my shoulders than I did then. My two cents in the post is you better study in school because you’re gonna need a damn good job to pay for all that crap your gonna go through in life of course unless parents make your life easier & do it all for you… I was also a know it all guy myself now I’m “I wish I would’ve listened to them older guys damnit!” with some of the choices I’ve made in my life and some of the struggles I’ve been through, that’s besides the pharmaceutical induced gyno. I’m also the type of guy that has to learn shit the hard way sometimes to so even if you don’t listen to these fine gentlemen here you’ll figure it out either way trust me life has a funny way of teaching you things at certain times in your life. ALSO as much as you think you want to be on TRT/HRT for your entire life right now & that it’s totally okay to totally atrophy your young testicles beyond repair. Just rethink the future you may possibly want kids in the future, and you may not wanna be jabbed by needles till your dead at age 60-80… Also personally I think steroids are an amazing drug I don’t have a lot of experience with them I’m not against them whatsoever. But if you need to stay on gear year round at this age just to hold on to your gains it sounds you need to find a new sport to play, from my understanding there’s many IFBB pros that cycle once a year just to hold onto muscle while they diet down from offseason bulk & maybe twice a year if they’re older fellas correct me if I’m wrong… Is it possible you may just like taking drugs, maybe possibly even addicted to the effects they give?
