Actually, Putin’s advisers already announced they’ll use crypto to bypass sanctions (I only have links in Russian).
Incidentally, even mid-level oligarchs have realized the potential of BTC and other crpyto for corruption schemes and the illegal transfer of funds.

My initial thought of cryptos (and still to date) is that it’s a horrible idea. It’s far too manipulable if you have power to the tune of a superpower country.
That being said, I’m still gonna ride this wave up and pay off some debt before our Russian overlords take over.
I think cryptos might break more into an equities type exchange. The new cryptos are actual tech companies that release coin.
Until someone develops a way to make payments without transferring to USD or other fiat, they aren’t liquid enough to be a currency.
Regarding nefarious use, all disrupting technology has illegitimate uses it take a bit of time for the market to correct itself.
It’s a wild ride right now, and I’m glad to not be a skeptic when the real money is being made.

What exchange apps are you guys using? I don’t trust crypto as it is. Then I read stuff like this. Obviously only money I’m willing to use will go to an ICO, but I’d rather not give it to KJU.
I bought ETH with Coinbase then moved it to Bittrex to buy alts. You can only use BTC or ETH for your trades to alt currencies.

That’s why you do what I did. Make like 200 bucks and cash out your whole original investment and play with house money.
I probably won’t make much of anything in the end, but I won’t lose any sleep either.

Coinbase added Bitcoin cash. What a wild ride! Just added another 40%.
It just took down coinbase. Before the site crashed it was at $6000+. THE FUCK IS HAPPENING
edit: scratch that. site back up. $8500
edit2: binance still showing just under $4000. Coinbase must have just flash crashed from the activity driving prices up. Bet when the site comes back up the price tanks hard

Any interest in a cryptocurrency thread? Started dabbling in altcoins last week and I’m getting addicted to researching these in the evenings. It’s like watching the stock market except Vin Diesel is driving in a muscle car.
