High Power, Low Weight

Hi, I am new to T-Nation this is only my first Thread. Through my training I have been progressing very slowly since I actually participate in a sport known as Tricking or XMA (Extreme Martial Arts) which requires me to have a very low fat percentage and a incredible power to weight ratio.

I am 180cm tall and only weigh 68Kg with 4.2% body fat. I would realy like to be a able to make my weight to 78Kg in the next 9 months while being able to keep my BF% under 7% the entire time, I have had massive trouble doing this in the past and I was wondering if any of the guys out there have encouterd this befor.

The main thing is I must be able to perform during this bulk up. Please help me out with this I have only been able to add 8 Kg of muscle in the last year. :frowning:

I would venture to say most of the people on here, well at least myself, are pretty impressed with the fact you were able to gain 8 kg of muscle in a year with that low of a body fat percentage. I mean gaining muscle while maintaining that low of a body fat percentage is naturally going to take time.

I agree with the above 8kg added at that BF% is off the chain good. I say keep doing what ever it is you are and share it.

Only 8kg of solid muscle lol. 8kg of lean body mass is a lot, most people who bulk add the same amount of muscle with 10kg of fat to go with it, count yourself lucky.

…um, ok I guess that a good thing then. lol, and I thought I was going badly. :stuck_out_tongue:

Except that he was 60kg before at 180cm … so surely that was pushing the bounds of nature to be that thin at that height to start with. So maybe he ate a sandwich. I think my last sandwich was mostly mince meat, and weighed about 8kg, if you include the bread and eggs.

Seriously though, 60kg is a VERY LOW WEIGHT, getting to 68kg was probably easy because 60kg was low, adding another TEN KILOGRAMS in 9 months is going to be an ask, for someone who is obviously very thin (and doesn’t want to get fat at all).

Good luck.

yeah I was fucking skinny. Tricks is a mix or all the Gymnastic Flips, Martial Arts attacks and Break dancing moves to create one sport. Sounds abit crazy well it is. Think running forward back flips, Horizontal spins throwing kicks in all directions and general Kill something moves. Most of the OMG martial arts moves you will see in the movies is part of this sport. So much fun and a rush and a half.
