Yep. Religion and state go hand in hand.
Since the advent of modern social democracy the new religion is to the State itself.
Is that why communism which is total state control denies any form of religion? I mean seriously, people were martyred for years over preaching Christianity and yet it was invented as part of some state control?
Communism may as well be a religion. What part of ‘unquestionable dogma is evil’ is so hard to understand?
Read the Epistles of St. Paul. He exhorts people to question what he writes. He challenges them to see for themselves if what he writes compares to what else is in the Bible.
This was also a man that spent several years trying to persecute Christians and gave up a high place in society to preach Christianity and eventually be martyred for it. He always urged people to talk to those who claimed to have seen the risen Christ.

I am more than familiar with the inane ramblings of Saul of Tarsus. I’m also aware of the doctrinal position of Biblical inerrancy.

Well, I’m glad you remember me after I had stayed away for a few months.

Long story short, it’s a photo shop thing.
Is that Batmanemon? So what’s the difference in pokemon and yu-gi-oh?

Batachu of course. Pokemon and Yugioh… hm, that would make an interesting combination.

I love religious discussions that start out by negating the possibility of religion being established by revelation from a supreme entity. Truly entertaining - it’s like watching someone explain the origin of the hot dog by first stating that there was no possibility that it could have been made in a hot kitchen by a wonderful German cook . . .

They’re not. You can’t fix stupid. And that’s all I have to say about that. I am not going to get into it again.
The good news is, we’re all going to die so we all get to find out who was right in the end, whose first?

Before you start calling someone stupid, at least get the right spelling of who’s in your post. You meant who’s (who is) not whose (showing ownership). Having grown up in ritzy eastern Tennessee though, I know how you Georgia Bulldogs are.

There, fixed…I’m a woeful Gamecocks fan… Although this year they actually have a chance, most everyone got worse.
I am not calling someone stupid, I am calling lots of people stupid. Anybody who thinks of religious folk as Cortes so eloquently described, is stupid. And according to what I read, there’s a few.
I abhor atheist elitism, especially since it is so poorly founded.

Oh, the Gamecocks. You have it better than me. I’m an Illini fan (we used to be called the Fighting Illini, but there is not fight left anymore).
I do believe in the Bible, but I’ve never been one of those “it says it in the Bible therefore you must believe it” type. I went through a lot of questioning and searching before finally coming back to Christianity.
