Valuing fame ahead of integrity.
I’m sure some of them simply don’t think sex or blow jobs are all that big of a deal. Some women get offended by other women looking sexy, others take great pleasure in causing that discomfort, and there are plenty in between. We all take a lot of shit in our careers, some more than others, but think about it this way, would you bang an older fat woman if it meant a seven figure income? If fame means that (and it often does) then there’s the answer. I’m sure many men would, just like women do it, and I’m sure for often much less.
We aren’t talking about consensual acts but sexual assault.

More precisely it’s claims of sexual assault and claims of unwanted sexual advances. These aren’t cut and dry cases even when they aren’t years old.

Every time I think I have heard it all I hear some other shit I didn’t expect. I don’t even want to work with a woman at this point. Not because there is something wrong with women, but there is something wrong with some women. And you don’t get to choose in the work place. Only the very appearance of impropriety or the slightest accusation would ruin my life, whether or not I did something. Which I do not.
But if these type accusations start popping out in the private sector, I will go down fighting…
I see people hug at work and shit, I want no part of it. Man or woman at best I will shake your hand. Sometimes, I’ll see dudes walk up to a woman and put their hands on their shoulders and I shutter. I am like, ‘dumbass’. I’d rather just gently bow in your direction with my hands behind my back.
I am probably just clueless and don’t notice that everybody is banging each other after work, but the culture scares me.
Right, just like there is something wrong with some men…and it leads people like you (and many others) to be fearful of any situation where your actions could be misconstrued.
The pendulum is swinging hard the other direction right now and I think it needs to. What’s likely to happen, unfortunately, is it’s going to swing too far the other way and it’s going to be weaponized more so than it is now. As the father of two sons, this worries me.
