Yeah. I guess that came out weird. What I meant was more to the effect of “it seems a little odd to support the tolerance/acceptance of gays and at the same time demand that they remain hidden from public veiw.”
I get what you mean by joking. I certainly do not wish to imply that gay jokes should be off-limits (I make them myself). To me, the stigma associated with homosexuality won’t dissappear until gays can take an appropriately sized space in the public eye. Products marketed towards gays being one facet of that.

Seriously though it is funny that men like girl-on-girl but ladies don’t like man-on-man. The reason why, I think, is guys like to think it’s just two straight girls pretending to be gay. This is possible. Two guys together just can’t be pretending, it’s not possible. If a video came out with two real lesbians who weren’t hot, it wouldn’t sell to anyone but lesbians, if even to them. Video’s only sell because the girls in them are hot, gay or not.
