Gun Control III

I guess if he makes sure people are disarmed his customers will be liess likely to get shot by someone defending themselves. He’s just trying to insure repeat business.

Of course!

And look at this bullshit.

FMJ’s are more likely to penetrate and cause collateral damage and are also less lethal. So, I guess I will just have to shoot them with more rounds and explain in court that since FMJ’s do not put the perp down as quickly or as efficiently… I had to shoot them more because I felt I was still in danger.

California needs to sink into the ocean and take New York City with it.

Georgia’s ‘Guns Everywhere’ Bill Celebrated by Pro-Gun Lobby
Bill expands places you can carry firearm to bars, schools, airports and churches

I’d like to fast forward a few years to see how this will pan out.

Most of your pro-gun states are going this route.

What a massive pile of emotional biased garbage that article is…

Lets see what is so egregious here

1) It will no longer be illegal to bring a firearm to a place of worship, as long as the congregation says itâ??s allowed

Okay. If you don’t like people carrying in church go to one that doesn’t allow it.

2) School districts will be allowed to decide if staff can carry firearms in elementary and high schools

Good. The article makes the appeal to emotion of Sandy Hook. Well had some staff been armed, there might have been less death that day.

3) Licensed carriers will be able to bring firearms into bars unless the owner disallows it.

See church answer

4) No more bans on firearms in public housing.

ZMOG, you mean poor people’s right’s are important to protect too? The horror!!!

Just wow. As for

I’m sure Georgia will turn into a Hollywood movie about the wild west were there are shootouts in the street over cans of tuna fish and bagels.

But, back I reality, I’m sure things will be basically the same as they are now.

jeeze.

I posted an article that was relevant to the thread topic. I didn’t make any statements about what I think will happen. I’m looking forward to see the changes, if any, to the state after these bills are implemented.

It will be just like it is here in Wyoming. Gunfights in the streets, mass killings, school shootings. Just like what’s happening in Chicago too now that people can carry.

Why did you go to that extreme? Why not suggest it will be safer?

If nothing is going to change, why bother changing the rules?

I applaud the law because it takes a page right out of the left’s handbook. The left knows it can’t transform the country overnight so it slowly whittles away our rights and freedoms until, voila, they’re all gone. This incrementally gives more rights to gun owners which means short of outright bans the left has to work harder to take our rights away. I just wish there was more of an effort to continue to do this in other areas of the law.

Um…sarcasm detector fail? Wyoming has no gunfights in the streets or school shootings. And Chicago’s murder rate has fallen steadily so far since carry was enacted.

He IS suggesting it will be safer, just with satire.

Also if nothing’s going to change regardless, I want my freedom back. And I want to not be looked at like a crazy person for liking that freedom. That’s why you should change the rules anyway. Freedom is more important–actually, I say it is most important.

Chicago CCH goes into effect for the first quarter of 2014, sees lowest murder rate since 1958.

Police began accepting applications for CCHs in January, and CBS Chicago reported that the permits began to be mailed to approved applicants in February.

At the same time, Chicago’s ABC 7 reports that “the first three months of 2014 saw 6 fewer murders than the same time frame in 2013… and 55 fewer murders than 2012.”

There were “90 fewer shootings and 119 fewer shooting victims” compared to the same time in 2013 and “222 fewer shootings and 292 fewer shooting victims” than the first quarter of 2012.

Overall, “crime is down 25 percent from last year.”

Even if we accept those bullshit statistics, we all know those killing and being killed in Chicago are not the type of people to act within the legal framework. Correlation does not imply causation.

Lol. It must be so disappointing when real life contradicts your alternate reality.

Hey, he’s in college heavily involved in “scholarship and practitionin.'” Thus, there ain’t much he don’t know.

I’m a CHL holder myself so… It’s amusing to think that all the gangbangers in Chicago who do the lion’s share of killing and dying are affected by this development.

Gangbangers aren’t so tough if they were to know there is a good chance their victim is armed. While it won’t stop all the gang violence, it will certainly weed out the pussies.
