Gun Control II

And this is exactly why we own guns…

$180 for a denim sneaker? Everyone in that line has far more money than sense. But good on the private citizen for doing what the police couldn’t.

Not that I give a shit about Madonna, but she actually had the balls to speak this on national TV…

"The singer faced backlash over some of the choreography in her new shows, which incorporated the heavy usage of guns. Regardless of the controversy, though, Madonna defended the presence of firearms when Vargas questioned her about it, affirming that she did not condone violence and saying they were used for the sake of art.

?That would be like asking people to not have guns in action movies,? she said in the interview. ?I mean the thing is, guns don?t kill people, people kill people. That whole first section of the show is like an action movie, and I was playing a super vixen who wanted revenge.?

Concealed Carry is coming to Chicago…

Thanks to Illinois state lawmakers, concealed carry is coming to Chicago with or without Gov. Pat Quinn’s (D) support, because the legislation passed with a veto-proof majority.

I am 100% certain Pelosi has never read the constitution.

Pelosi urges Congress to uphold Constitution by passing gun control

“Anti-gun U.S. Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) recently urged members of Congress to uphold their oath to ‘protect and defend’ the Constitution by passing harsher gun control laws. Yes, Pelosi is proposing that Congress should support the Constitution by radically violating it. Such is the deconstructionist mindset of modern-day gun-control advocates.”

What… The… Fuck…

I’m seriously contemplating getting the biggest NRA bumper sticker just so I can piss off a couple hundred MA progressives on my ride to work. And then when I give my car to my son… Oh god the joy it will bring to see a teenage boy with that sticker driving around…

When Progressives do that it is called Freedom of Speech. When Conservatives do it it is considered a hate crime. Your car WILL be vandalized. My Mom had a marriage is one man and one woman sticker on her car. A liberal did $2,000 of damage to it.

Maybe keep your car in front of a surveillance camera to be safe.

Lol, it would almost be worth every penny to watch the “tolerant” left get all pissed off.

That said, a shocking number of pinko lefty friends of mine are hard core pro-2nd. It seems the government is pissing up the wrong rope on this one. I know a dude with a Bam bumper sticker who has been seen dropping a “molon labe” or two.

The most striking thing about that list is not whose names are on it (Boxer, Feinstein, Franken and Klobchar…shocker! And why does Bernie Sanders call himself an “Independent” when he is obviously a Socialist?) but rather whose names are not. Eleven Democratic senators did not vote in favor of entering the UN treaty. Now, I’d like to see which of the 11 Democrats actually voted for the amendment, and who abstained (there was one abstention). I think these ten or eleven Dems who voted for Sen. Inhofe’s amendment deserve a thank you letter from every freedom-loving gun owner in this country, for voting their consciences and not their party line.

From the New American article:

“The most egregious affront to the sovereignty of the United States is that there is not a single word in the Arms Trade Treaty protecting the unalienable right to keep and bear arms. In fact, the latest draft of the proposed agreement recognizes private ownership of firearms only for ‘recreational, cultural, historical, and sporting activities.’”

Actually, I see no large conflict with the language of this treaty. After all, defending one’s home and homeland from aggression and tyranny is definitely a culturally and historically relevant activity, and what could be a more enjoyable recreational or sporting activity than taking pot shots at black or baby blue helmets from 500 meters away?

Going by the illustration, it looks as if the stickers are only banning Beretta M9s.
